Procurement and demand /supply planning
S&OP
Digitization
Planning:
Demand Planning - APO DP (SAP), Analyze historical data for all customer base, facilitate monthly forecast, agreeing & signing off forecast with country management, communicating long term forecast to all stake holders.
Supply Planning - MRP (SAP), Demand / Supply balancing and Production Planning & Scheduling, maintaining strong resonance with sites and securing timely production & shipments.
Lead S&OP process& discuss various Demand, Supply, Inventory, Operations bottlenecks & issues which have impact on working capital & business with Management Team and arrive at mitigating strategies.
Tolling (3rd Party Mfg) - End to End planning of all Tolling locations - Identification of toller, feasibility study, setting up SOPs, analysing non value added products / activities which can be off-loaded to tollers, setting up products, and execution production schedule against plan.
Long term Production planning & short term production scheduling for all sites & tolling locations.
Ensuring maximum utilization of assets in orders have lower idle cost.
EHS Audit coordination for tolling sites.
Procurement - Raw Material / Merchandise goods from Europe, U.S, & Asian countries.
Vendor scheduling and communication with suppliers.
Collaboration with all stake holders (manufacturing, procurement, Logistics, QC/ QA, Technical / Product Development) across all sites for achievement of production plan, optimize equipment, New Product Launch, customer service.
Build relationships with global planning, sourcing, logistics, customer service, technical, teams for the coordination and support of supply chain service level efficiencies & strategic projects.
Taking input from OTC (Order to Cash) team about order book & distribution of FG as per orders.
Analysis / Management / Project:
Reengineer / Improve Supply Chain model & Processes in order to keep Supply Chain cost with budget.
Annual Planning - Capacity, Distribution Network, Procurement, Inventory Budgeting, Manpower.
Design & implement strategic Supply Chain projects.
Defining the performance matrices & monitoring the score.
Optimizing process & creating supply reliability by outsourcing / contracting non value adding activity to Toller.
Calculate service level indicator & report.
Drive root cause analysis & corrective actions for gaps between actual and planned performance.
Leading team of 5 direct reports.
Inventory Management:
Inventory planning to maintain at a target of 65 DIV Days.
Keeping tab on slow moving, dead inventory.
Analysis of Age stock & preventative & corrective action for reduction.

Scheduling of the Operations of each Work Station in Coil Shop
Taking input from supply chain planner about scheduling of Assembly line & deriving production schedule for Coil Shop.

Lead Kanban & 5S Projects for Coil Shop.
