I work as a lecturer in college of nursing where I have been handling a variety of responsibilities. Subjects that I deal with include research, clinical specialty (gastroenterolgy nursing), management, nursing education. i have guided more than 15 post graduate students' thesis work. I have several publication on my name and have been a resource person at national and international conferences in India. I am involved in training nursing professional in clinical areas on many topics including needle stick injury, hepatitis management, anatomy and physiology, covid 19 etc.
I worked as a academician at College of nursing where I was responsible to teach UG student nurses a number of subjects including foundation of nursing, anatomy and physiology, medical surgical nursing as per the curriculum of Indian Nursing Council. I was the research guide for students doing masters in nursing.
During this job, I got clinical experience working in high dependency unit at AIIMS New Delhi. I gained skills in caring for patients admitted with high care needs.
I did my specialty in medical surgical nursing with cardiology as superspeciality subject. I got exposure to various clinical areas which helped me gaining variety of clinical skills. Through teaching learning activities, I learned various teaching skills.
