Responsible for providing engineering services during construction, including reviewing design and working drawings and related technical submittal, inspection at site, reviewing material submittals, shop drawings and responding to contractor's RFIs. (for both low voltage and low current system).
Responsible to check conformance of installation works at site including conduit installation, duct bank installation, cable tray installation, wiring devices installation, panel installation, lightening protection system installation and earthing network installation as per approved working drawings and as per project specifications.
Responsible to check conformance of installation works related to railway communication (Signaling Works), mainly Signal Cable Laying, Equipment (Axle Counter, Trailing Sensors, LFOP, Point Machine) Installation, I/O Cabinet Installations, KEG Installation, Power Supply Cabinet Installation, Cable Termination in CDBs, Equipment, KEG, I/O Cabinets and Power Supply cabinets as per approved working drawings and as per project specifications.
Using Power System analysis software such as ETAP for Windows to carry out studies such as load flow, short circuit calculation, cable size calculation, generator size calculation, transformer size calculation, circuit breaker calculation and the respective voltage drop of complete network.
Review contractor’s submittal for Supplier Approval and accordingly material approval through Material Approval Request (MAR) for both Low Voltage and Low Current System.
Verify the delivery of material, through Material Inspection Request (MIR), is as per approved MAR.
Review Sub-Contractor’s Prequalification documents submitted by the contractor.
Responding to contractor’s submission of RFIs (Request for Inspection) for both LV and LC system.
Review Method Statements, and their application in order to control the end quality of installation (installation check lists and Inspection Test Plan)
Review product designs and attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Preparation of daily and weekly progress reports and reporting to PMO.
Supervised Testing and Commissioning Activity of the whole site as per standard procedures and specifications.
Worked as an Estimation Engineer to Study / review of tender documents, scope of work, drawings, BoQ, specifications, client’s requirement from the tender documents for proper estimation works.
Estimation for OHTL works.
Prepare technical queries for ambiguities in drawings and BoQ.
Technical evaluation of the supplier.
Prepare and send RFQs for all the items to the approved suppliers to obtain required quotations.
Follow up with the suppliers to obtain quotations in time, clarify all their queries and meetings with suppliers when required.
Pricing material and labor cost of each BoQ item in the price comparison sheet, by using the quotations and pre-determined manpower production rates.
Serve as project coordinator, cost estimator, project engineer and project manager on assigned projects.
Working with team to create a Zero Harm environment by maintaining a safe and secure work place and adhering to safe practices.
Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients as part of a team
Monitor construction works (Assembly, Erection, Stringing, Retrofitting and Dismantling) to assure conformance with plans and specifications.
Preparation of daily and weekly progress reports based on the data received from site and monthly invoices.
Familiar with PLS-CADD, Global Mapper and Google Earth Pro.
Finalizing the Transmission Line Route with the help of Google Earth Pro.
Using GLOBAL MAPPER to import data from Google Earth Pro and use it to analyze terrain.
Using advance survey techniques to analyze Terrain for different Transmission Lines Routes.
Using PLS-CADD to prepare plan and profile drawings using Digital Elevation Model Data for ground profile and then Tower spotting on it.
Scheduling in MS Project.
Engineering calculations to ensure safety and performance of complete system.
Supervision of all electrical works (Low Voltage) in earthquake projects funded by Government of Pakistan (GOP), Kuwait, UNICEF and under Bagh City Development Program (BCDP) funded by People Republic of China.
Verification of all IPCs submitted by contractor.
Processing of EOT claims, Price adjustment claims, Variation Order Claims submitted by the contractor.
Preparation of Physical and Financial progress reports of the project on fortnightly and monthly basis.
Presentation to all the stake holders during site visits and progress review meetings.
Supervision of all electrical works (Low Voltage) in earthquake projects funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB), Government of Pakistan (GOP), Kuwait and UNICEF.
Verification of all IPCs submitted by contractor.
Supervision of all electrical works in light gauge structures introduced first time in Pakistan.

• Installation & Grouting of DCS System &Marshaling Cabinets.
• Installation of cable tray from control room to main switchgear.
• Installation & Grouting of MCC Switch Gear panels along with their Bus Tie Duct.
• Installation of field JB's, Transmitters, Indicators and misc. instruments in particular.
• Terminations of cables at both end (Field and MCCR).
• Monitoring of the Installation of all sort of field Instrument with relevant Hook ups and P&IDs.
• MCCR electrification works &overall plant Lighting works.
