Cost Management - Plan, monitor and manage expenditures according to agreed budgets Monthly analysis of material consumption variance, operation cost variance and identify the reasons of abnormal cost variance if any. Periodic evaluation of the “Machine hour rates” and periodic revision of the operation rates in the ERP system BaaN. Calculation of transfer prices for the sale of materials to overseas branches and subsidiaries. Simulation of sales price and margin based on the anticipated material cost.
Financial Reporting -Monthly finalization of the division wise profitability reports of the company. Providing and interpreting financial information and pinpoint the potential weak points.
Inventory Management -Overall control of inventory of the company and periodic review of slow moving inventory, inventory turnover ratios, and inventory holding periods.
Accounts Payable Management - Review of the purchase forecast and unblocking of purchase orders. Management of local supplier and foreign supplier payment. Trade finance activities like review and approval of import L.C application and T.R application.
Account Receivable Management:- Periodic calculation of transfer prices to sister companies, sales order unblocking, periodic review of customer ageing report for the follow up of debtors and periodic review of credit limit of the customers.
Budget & Capex -Managing the preparation of Company’s Budget and report to the management on variance from established budget and the reasons for those variances.
VAT Implementation- Implementation of VAT including the impact study of the VAT in the organization by transaction analysis. Also involved in the modification of the system to comply the requirements of Value Added Tax.
Other Responsibilities -Review and modification of the internal control systems prevailing in the company. Liaisoning with external auditors for annual closing and finalization of accounts. Manage the capital budgeting process, based on payback period and discounted cash flow analysis . Review and approval of payment vouchers. Financial staff management, training, recruitment & selection.
During the tenure of my office with Al Buheira Lacnor I got exposure in the areas like General Accounting, Budgeting, Costing Variance Analysis, Accounts Receivable etc. Experience in configuration of the ERP software People Soft according to the requirement of the company.
Maintanaing books of account, Periodic evaluation of the performace of Port folios, Annualclosing and finalization of Accounts.
During the turnour of my office I got exposurein the areas like Product Costing, InternalAudit, Closing and finalizationof accounts, taxaction etc.
