Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead an 24*7 Network Operation team who are responsible for problem resolution and
maintenance of network & security infrastructure,
Partner with Network Engineering team and various It team in resolving issue .
To design, implement and manage networking infrastructure between remote sites and
connecting networks
Resolve the Service Effecting network problems on Proactive/Reactive basis, adhere SLAs and
follow change management procedure where ever required .
To support the network systems in areas of configuration and troubleshooting of network
problems .
Coordinate with location ICT to install and configure firewalls, switches, WLC and routers.
Responsible for Refresh/ Upgrade of Security Equipment’s and Network / Tools
Configuration backup of all devices and maintaining AAA server.
Out of office hours On call Support.
VPN Configuration between sites based on need.
Taking care of ISP migration .
Installing and troubleshooting web proxy and dalo radius relating problems .
Coordinating with design team for network implementation

Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide operational support for Cognizant Network Globally on an daily basis
To conduct the technical analysis of Firewalls, network nodes, LAN/WAN communications,
switches, and various transmission systems.
Coordinate with vendors to install firewalls, routers, bridges, concentrators and switches
Responsible to conduct analysis, prepare reports, and work on project implementation
Resolve the Service Effecting network problems on Proactive/Reactive basis.
Responsible for Refresh/ Upgrade of Network and Security Equipment’s/ Tools
Documentation of changes KEDB, CMDB / Incidents & Daily, Weekly, Monthly reports
Managing third-party vendors/ contracts related to Network Security
Providing inputs to capacity management and accountable for Service level management &
Availability
Take ownership of critical priority incidents and provide resolution within set SLA

Roles and Responsibilities:
Designing & Implementation of customers network infrastructure (LAN/WAN) with Routers,
Switches through the use of Access Control Lists and NAT ting.
Configuration of Routers as per design which involves both Static Configuration of Routers
and Routing Protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF).
Configuring switches and enabling Switch Port Security.
Resolve the Service Effecting network problems on Proactive/Reactive basis.
Monitor user’s internet usage and bandwidth utilization of the network.
Securing the infrastructure by whitelisting and black-listing via Websense ( Content filtering )
and providing access, restriction for users in web filters to access internet.
Handled a 12 member team, coordinating with 3 sub-teams Access, Core & Network.
Continually improvising the operational process and expanding the business by delivering
efficient & good-quality designs.
Balance both internal & external stakeholder interests & keep both sides in sync over time.
