One of the prime initiative was to study the return of investment for the study as it a national level project which burns lots on investment during the implementation. Identified all the stakeholders for the project whose inputs are quite important for executing the project and Initiated the ROI study workshops and was part of requirements & data gatherings.

Travelled to Oman to join this organization as a Lead. The company was executing a utility project for EGIS implementation with field survey of over 1600 KMs. The project was started in waterfall process and was delayed. The processes and plan was not in place and the client was completely unhappy with the progress. This was a very prestigious project for the customer as this was the first EGIS project in Oman for utilities and all other utility companies were closely watching the progress.

Reviewed the defined scope of work and the proposal which was accepted by customer and identified the gaps in the processes with the expectations. Consulted with client on their exact requirements and reviewed the data model with respect to the requirements. Reorganized the process and developed the project plan. Presented the processes and plan to the management and client and got the approval for changes. Recommended the data model and metadata changes. A combination of agile and waterfall methodologies were used in defining the new processes.

Trained all the survey, GIS and IT staff on the new processes and derived their daily and monthly targets to be achieved for completing finishing the project in time.
