Planning:
• Surveyed new business opportunities to acquire projects (power plants set-up, high and medium voltage substations and rehabilitation projects) in the government and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution:
• Executed projects for overhauling of existing high and medium voltage substations and retrofitted these with new parts to improve operating efficiencies, and reduced costs and emissions.
• Resolved technical problems during installation of new plant and equipment in turnkey projects in high and medium voltage substations to cut down on project delays.
• Monitored erection, installation, commissioning and testing of plant and equipment as per project schedule and proactively coordinated all the activities for execution of project on time.
• Visited project sites regularly and supervised critical engineering works to enforce compliance with safe work procedures and delivered an accident / incident-free project.
Sales Management:
• Submitted competitive quotations to customers for supply, erection, commissioning and hand-over of new gas turbines - 30 to 50 MW units with 11 KV & 33 KV system substations.
• Coordinated with manufacturing department, vendors and subcontractors for supply of turbine, transformer, other equipment and accessories as per agreed up on schedule.

Raslanuf Oil and Gas Producing Company was established for manufacturing oil, petrochemicals, organic plastic and fibres.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintenance of medium voltage electrical switchgear up to 33 KV and 6 KV, 11 KV & 33 KV distribution transformers and protection relays on daily basis.
• Conducted regular testing of protection relays of turbine, generator, main feeders, and transformer feeders in both 6.6 & 33 KV systems and ensured that they functioned properly.
• Detected cable faults in underground power cable system, carried out rectification work, conducted high voltage testing and reenergised the line, after adopting defined safety precautions in all stages.
• Analysed failure of electrical machines and equipment, cabling and wiring, electrical instruments and identified root cause of failure.
• Undertook repairs in case of breakdowns on top priority and guided electricians and helpers in carrying out the work with proper safety and work procedure.
• Identified the needs of replacement of electrical machinery, equipment, spare parts and initiated procurement action by processing with management approval.
• Reviewed inventory status of spare parts with stores personnel and ensured that necessary action was initiated so that the spares were available in stock.
• Recruited and trained electricians and helpers for skill development and knowledge on safety and correct work procedures.
• Ensured that the electricians possess license required for working in 6.6 KV, 11 KV, 33 KV systems and maintained records in the department.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepared bill of materials before undertaking installation of medium and high voltage power system so that the materials were procured, inspected and accepted.
• Undertook installation of medium voltage - 11 KV & 33 KV electrical switchgear, transformers and relay protection systems.
• Inspected and conducted testing of equipment such as transformers, electrical switchgear, cable work, protection system between the primary and main ring substations.
• Modified change over switching system, as per customer specific requirements for reserve power supply in the 11 KV and 33 KV systems.
• Conducted routine testing of protective system relays of 11 KV, 33 KV & 132 KV system and maintained test records.
• Performed high-voltage testing of transformers, electrical switchgear and power cables after completion of installation work.
