Together with the General Director and the local top-management team to develop and execute plans to meet the overall objectives agreed for the subsidiary as well as specific plans for the finance and administration of the subsidiary.
- A key role is to monitor and control all key financial indicators of the profit and loss account and balance sheet including revenue, debtors, creditors, stocks, cash as well as the various performance and productivity indicators. Overall responsibility for reporting to the Group and briefing of the Regional Headquarter as requested by GMA
- Implementing financial control and reporting system
- Implementing target setting and forecasting system
- Assigned Region - Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Armenia
Description of core responsibilities and tasks:
- To plan, direct, coordinate and review the work plan for accounting and IS staff; assign work activities,
- Maintain files and records for all matters pertaining to financial activities of the finance department
- To be responsible for the Company’s annual budget preparation.
- To ensure transparency in performance to identify & support value creating activities
- To deliver unbiased presentation of facts to support managerial decision making
- To focus on revenue recognition with maintaining strong controller-ship routines
- To implement and follow appropriate financial regulations and controls
- To recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments
- Evaluate for cost-reduction opportunities
- Manage, monitor, analyze cash flow and working capital and recommend cash levels available for investments
- Maintain financial analysis to assist decision making in area such as pricing, investments and overhead expenditure
- Review and verify customer credit reputation
- Perform month end close, reconciliation of accounts and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with Grundfos standards and current legislation (CAR)
- Ensure the controller-ship, integrity and effectiveness of the finance team
- To coordinate with other departments regarding internal control procedures
- To develop positive and supportive relationships with colleagues; internal staff and management
- To undertake any other duties as may be determined by the General Director
