IDBI Bank Ltd. (Industrial Development Bank of India) is a Public Sector Bank, owned by Government of India. I have been working with IDBI since 7 years. Initially was assigned as Executive for Credit to Infrastructure Corporate clients for the first 3 years. The department was a special wing for lending to Infrastructure Development Companies in the sectors of Telecom, Energy and Road Development projects. The financing was by way of Term Loans, Project Loans and Working Capital Loans.
Post my promotion as Asst. Manager in 2013, I have handled Branch Operational activities for a period of 2 years, which includes Cash Management, Electronic Transfers, maintaining of Liability Relationship like Fixed Deposits & Salary Accounts for Corporate Customers.
Thereafter I was assigned Credit for Corporate Clients such as Textile companies and NBFCs. Tasks involved pre & post sanction activities which includes Appraisal, Documentation, Disbursement and Monitoring. Providing monthly MIS was a part of the assigned portfolio. Since October 2017, I have been posted in the vertical for NPA Management. The job basically involves the remedial measures, restructuring and recovery activities as per the Indian Law System.
