Preparing and implementing QHSE management system policies and procedures.
Understanding the following applicable legal and client’s QHSE practices at project site.
Performing hazard identification (HAZID) & Risk Assessment (HIRA)as per the standard procedures in consultation with Operations department.
Leading the implementation of QHSE procedures at work site.
Planning and delivering various training related to Occupational Health & Safety and Environment at workplace. (including Safety Tool Box Talks).
Reporting weekly and monthly QHSE Reports,
Reporting OHS hazards, Environmental aspects to supervisor and managers.
Conduct unexpected site inspections to ensure the HSE culture in the company.
Participating in incident investigations as instructed.
Authorized to stop unsafe work in condition with site supervisor/operations.
Promoting and leading QHSE awareness in all work places
Developing and implementing health and safety policy.
Investigating health & safety related complaints and workplace accidents.
Reviewing workplace hazards
Conducts safety and environmental audits and risk assessments
Liaise with local authorities to deal emergency and other situations without delay.
Identifying the training needs & provide them, checking PPE and its quality.
Ensuring tool box talk is carried out on daily basis
Providing safety induction for visitors and newly joined employees
Identifying health and safety training requirements and providing in house trainings.
Conduct risk assessment of new activities and periodic review of ongoing activities.
Conducting mock drill and updating emergency preparedness.
Providing first aid at site and medical evacuation if required.
Conduct incident investigation for preventing recurrence.
Conduct safety inspection as per HSE plan and recording findings for actions.
Conduct weekly employee’s forum and monthly HSE meetings
Providing all information on health and safety matters to project manager.
Imparting awareness on drug and alcohol.
Conducting Hazard identification, confined space, excavation and chemical handling.
Diploma in HSE Management & Fire Technology.
Level 6 International Degree in Occupational Safety & Health.
NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health.
