Tasks covered:
In charge of Marketing Department in absence of the Marketing Manager.
In charge of all digital marketing activities conducted at the hotel.
Manage PR activities by ensuring the publication of press releases, hotel coverage in the main Medias and maintain a good relationship with Bahrain Medias (magazines & newspapers).
Produce daily Clipping report highlighting market news, opportunities and competitors’ coverage.
In charge of every produced communication materials in the hotel (press releases, online communication, marketing content for different Medias, advertisements, imagery, etc.)
Project manager for several events e.g. Earth Hour, Ramadan, etc.
In charge of Brand Management of the hotel by conducting ‘’Hotel Internal Audit’’ and making sure hotel/marketing activities being aligned with the IHG brand standards.
Build and maintain mutual relationships with Banks, Embassies, Chambers & any parties within hotel’s interest.
Conduct competitors’ site inspection and report the findings to managements by placing strategies to improve the current service.
Communicate with IHG head office for marketing strategies and campaigns to be implemented.
Train university interns for one to three months internship in the Marketing Department.
Diploma in Professional Marketing Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM Level 6) Subjects covered: Strategic Marketing Mastering Metrics Digital Marketing
Throughout my studies at Bahrain Polytechnic, I have been involved in many practical projects that prepared me for actual workplace. I have gained business-related knowledge, Marketing knowledge specifically, that will help me function efficiently in any workplace.
