- Manage and support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Health and
Safety elements of the company’s HSE Management System, and ensure that the goals and
requirements of the Company’s HSE Policy and associated Corporate and HQ Standards are
achieved in all activities.
- Ensure that the company’s HSE Management System supports the delivery of Regulatory
Compliance.
- Advise on compliance with relevant applicable Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.
- Maintenance and development of Emergency Response Plans, Systems and Organisation.
- Preparation or coordination of exercises and training materials and their delivery.
- Participate in Offshore SSHE Audit, Inspection, Stand Up, Campaign etc..

- Have operational experience
- Have a flexible approach and the ability to make decisions quickly.
- Be able to motivate and lead a team.
- Have experience with budgeting, reporting, and planning.
- Be able to set up the procedure and train the existing personnel on the project for their
implementation
• HSE engineer in SONATRACH gas and oil production plant in Hassi Messaoud; ALGERIA. Missions:
• Ensuring that the company safety and environmental standards and policies are complied
• Supervision of daily work (maintenance, construction…etc) using the “Permit to Work System” by providing precautions and instructions and making sure that those instructions are complied.
• Supervision of works such as welding, lifting, entering into confined space, Radio Active test, work at height…etc. by inspection, advising, gas test, making sure that energy isolations are realized…etc.
• Provide training and induction for the company personnel and subcontractors
• Training of personnel in basic fire fighting techniques
• Ensure the periodic inspection and maintenance of the fire detection and extinguishing systems
• Participate in risk assessment and studies related to our facilities, such as HAZOP. HAZID, SIL analysis
• Risk analysis
• Audit and installation inspections
• Carrying out incident and accident investigation and identifying their root causes and prevent their reoccurrence.
• Prepare safety daily, weekly, monthly and annually reports
• Managing of the site safety crew (technicians and inspectors)
