* Supervises the EPC Contractor’s design for the control facilities and systems that are specifically under his responsibility.
* verify that works done are in line with the project's technical specifications: field Instrumentation, fire detection, power generation, test cables
*Supervises fire- fighting and emergency activities
*Ensure the quality of works that are mandated activities are performed in compliance with the requirements of design engineering, project contract agreements, timing and safety of the project.
*Accused the reception of the RFI (request for inspection) and schedule work with constructor
*Performs timely review of specifications and documentation to ensure that project schedules are maintained.
* Daily meeting with constructors (ALSTOM and consortium ORASCOM), discussing about the anomalies, schedule work, rate of progress)
* Daily and weekly report
*Ensure the use of the latest revision of all contract documents, specifications and engineering and reference standards
* Witnessing and sentencing of all site inspections within their disciplines
*Regular site verification and comments of Subcontractor daily report
*Problem Solving and Decision Making
• Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
• Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
• Checks cable laying and cable identification.
• Performs all relevant loop checks.
• Updates as built drawings.
• Performs punch-listing operations.
• Performs visual inspections
• Perform tests of continuity and insulation resistance.
• Calibrates safety valves.
• Calibrates instruments.
• Checks installation of instruments.
• Performs tests functional instruments.
• Checks pneumatic signal connection.
• Checks fiber optic cable.
• Performs test communication functionalities.
• Witness the tests, controls and inspections carried out.
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, and check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.
• Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
