Working as Finance Manager with reporting line to the Group Accounts and Finance Manager where the job performed includes but not limited to the following.
-Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Financial Reports in line with the IFRS.
-Ensure value added analysis and narratives are completed for all major variances to plan, and work closely with the budget owners to drive corrective measures when necessary.
-Prepare annually and quarterly financial forecasts that serve as the primary source for executive management when providing earnings guidance.
-Provide financial analysis and assistance for resource allocation, strategic planning and budget administration.
-Advise Board Members on general budget performance, alerting of special circumstances and concerns.
-Effective Cost Control for ongoing Projects.
-Planning and costing for new Bid Projects with contract Department.
-Cash Flow and Mobilization Plan for Coming Projects.
-Co-Controller of 05 Domestic offices & 01 Office in Iraq and 550 employees.
-Supervision of 6-person Accounts Payable Department; 02 Accounts Receivables.
-Identify and Resolve Problem, Summarize and Evaluate Data
-Developing and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization.
-Responsible for monitoring stock levels and performing inventory reconciliations
-Doing cash management and cost control
-Ensuring compliance with all local statutory requirements.
-Plans and Execute Audit in accordance with the Accounting standards.
-Monitoring & Reporting Contracts / Projects Profitability & Costing.
-Settlement of Annual Leaves, Air Tickets and Gratuity.
-Finalization of Bank Reconciliations, Creditors, Debtors Balances at the month end.
-Corporate tax return preparation, review & timely tax filing.
