Deutsche bank wanted to transform their current mortgage servicing back office application running on mainframe to new J2EE based system to address new mortgage offerings of bank and to make the system more flexible for future changes in business process. The scope boundary was limited from execution of an approved loan to its closure. IBM is responsible to transform (with partial re-engineering of AS-is) the system to a Weblogic 10.3 based platform with Struts based UI. The core mortgage functionality of calculation kernel and loan transactions was realized using a COTS product. Integration with existing system was mostly file based with only front-office system interface done via a point-to-point web services. The initial loan data was migrated to the system from existing mainframe application as EBCDIC file using a mix of SQL Loader and EJB service calls.

As Onsite Co-ordinator, I worked with several Function group leads and deployment team to close the gaps and defects raised by Deutsche Bank. Displayed good teamwork and collaboration while working in this project with IBM India dev, test and IBM Germany team. Daily follow up with IBM Germany team for the updates and delegates information to the IBM India team accordingly.

The MySource Enterprise Portal is a distributed application acting as a gateway to NiSource corporate networked resources. The MySource Enterprise Portal Server allows end users to access portal content via My Pages, community pages, the Knowledge Directory, and search. It also allows for some administrative actions such as setting portlet preferences and managing communities. This is the single most important and heavily-taxed component of MySource Enterprise portal. This application needs to run on a dedicated and powerful computer. It is using two Portal Servers in conjunction with load-balancing software greatly increased MySource Enterprise portal's reliability and performance.
As a Onsite Lead responsible for Analysis, design, deployment, testing and implementation of customized Plumtree packages for new requirements and implementations and also heavily involved in Plumtree upgrades from Plumtree 5.0.4 to AquaLogic Interaction 6.1 MP1.

It was integrated with the Sales Order Processing system. This system gave up-to-date information regarding the stocks available in the warehouse and was linked to Purchase Order Processing System, which allowed for purchase orders to be generated while placing new order to suppliers. Some of the other functionalities included: adjustment receipts, material requisitions, material receipts, material returns, supplier returns and adjustments issues. The transactions are posted to Account Payable module. Shipments received from suppliers are entered against purchase orders and quantity in stock, quantity on order, balance quantity, damaged quantity, re-order level are maintained and updated on a on-line basis. Following reports were generated through the system - Stock Ledger, Items below re-order level, Ideal stock report, Opening balance statement, Consumption details report, Goods receiving report, purchase order edit list, to name a few.
