Key Result Areas:
• Supervise operation of Warehouses, inventory control of spares and material
planning. Maintained low inventory, made availability of spares parts and raw
materials without jeopardizing the plant maintenance and continuous operation of
plant with 4 million ton capacity per annum.
• Achieved zero mismatches for the class “B” items physical inventory carried out
every year at the end of June and for “A” Class items at the end of year, along with
spare assets biannually.
• Responsible for making a comprehensive study and review twice a year in
coordination with end user for identification of non-moving items and phasing out all
the obsolete spares with proper justification if no more required. Submit report to
Finance department and arrange to remove them from stocks upon obtaining
approvals.
• Delegated as Warehouse Chief in July 2011 and delivered responsibilities to the
satisfaction of the management. Attending daily technical meetings with plant
management and coordinated for all issues related to procurement and services.
• Supervised total staff of 16 (Senior Warehouse Keepers, Warehouse Keepers, Senior
Material Officer, Material officer - receiving, Stock Controller, Weigh Bridge clerks
and Helper Assistants) under Warehouse.
• 2 Weigh bridges for various Raw materials receipts recording and accounting are
managed by Warehouse including Diesel & Benzene dispensing station with
implementation of safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Scrap yard for useable and saleable material is well maintained as per ISO 14001
standards with good control of material in with proper record and proper storage
with segregation.
• Handling 48, 000 numbers of active line items with 18, 100 items with Re order levels
and proper stocks are maintained by warehouse by initiating Purchase Requisition
on reaching equal to or below reorder point for replenishment. Total Inventory is
179 Million Saudi Riyals out of which spares are of 120 Million Saudi Riyals. As per
asset register 550 Spare Assets are in our Warehouse Inventory and the
corresponding value is 15 Million Saudi Riyals.
• In the year 1995, I joined M/S. Qassim Cement Company as
the year 1992, transferred to Kymore Cement
Plant. I was heading the 50 persons team of Nucleus pool and was also assigned the
responsibility of coordination of 1 million Ton per annum Cement Plant Project at
Mehgaon right from erection to commissioning which was successfully
commissioned in the year 1994.
Year1986 to 1991 responsibilities and positions held:
• Returned to India in March 1986 on promotion as
for the Environment team committee and Risk
Assessment committee.
• Member of PAT (Performance Assurance Team) which is responsible for improving
the performance of plant machinery, plant efficiency, reliability, utilization and
safety aspects.
• BUDGET planning, preparation and implementation.
ACHIEVEMENTS
• Achieved 99 % reliability for Major sections of Line 1 (Raw Mill, Kiln and Cement Mill)
as far as Mechanical maintenance is concerned.
• In the year 2005 was awarded the BEST MODEL machine award during the TPM
(Total Productivity Maintenance) kickoff and implementation program.
• Awarded Appreciation Letter for the effective contribution in the BREAKDOWN
ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS system. Two suggestions and solutions given for repeated
breakdowns in Kiln Production Line No.1 which were implemented and helped
overcome the problem.
• Handled the complete 2 years operation spares requirement finalization costing 7.7
million EURO including codification, specification up dating, receipts, inspection for
the new line of 4500 tons per day in year 2007.
• Team member of the specification review and update for further enhancing the item
master data in JDE.
• Key member for the development of new forms and reports in SharePoint and
implementing securities in soft approval systems for procurement cycle
