duties.

1. Contribute to the technical design and supervision of protection interventions in the whole
INTERSOS’ programme in Jordan;
2. Contribute to the improvement of program quality by leading development, review and
cataloguing protection technical tools, global and national standards, manuals, guidelines
and trainings;
3. Contribute to the technical design and implementation of baseline studies, assessment and
evaluation with regards to protection components and activities;
4. Contribute to the development of protection complaints mechanisms, as well as Post
Distribution Monitoring mechanisms, ensuring colleagues are well trained on that and have
access to enough technical supervision;
5. Meaningfully mainstream protection in other INTERSOS’ programmes, i.e. Education, Cash
etc.;
6. Ensure basic concepts of Child Protection, SGBV and general protection are understood
and translated into practise by colleagues;
7. Identify learning and training opportunities for INTERSOS staff and work as a mentor and
role model for less experienced staff;
8. Participate in the Amman-based Protection Working Group and other co-ordination and
liaison meetings with partners, as requested by supervisor;
9. Participate to the development of high quality concept notes and proposals with regards to
protection, and engage with donors’ technical advisers as requested by advisor;
10. Provide timely inputs to program and donor reports on protection project activities in
compliance with internal requirements and any relevant external donor requirements;
11. perform any other tasks requested by the Project Manager and/or by the
Supervisor in the framework of the activities foreseen by INTERSOS program in Jordan.�
12. In coordination with the supervisor, ensure that INTERSOS outreach capacities are
strengthened, and clear methodologies for approaching, dealing and working with
marginalized and underserved communities (especially those living in Informal Tented
Settlements) are in place.

I've worked in a lot of charities aimed at vulnerable people and society as a whole service in many of the projects that was headed by these associations and the job title, and I have is a volunteer of the most prominent things that we deal with are our brothers Syrians fleeing the war waged by their country's service
We provide them with support and awareness moral support and financial support to provide the terms of survival and that before Ictspo refugee status
I made what services and subjected to many pressures and which in turn led to hone existing skills and I have a special gain in this area skills as a team leader or as a coordinator for projects

Programme Implementation:
• Ensure the implementation of protection activities in the host community, in coordination with WASH teams and Protection Assistants and under the technical guidance of the Protection Coordinator.
• Prepare for and organize community consultations and community based orientation sessions, in coordination with Oxfam team(s) and local partners.
• Manage and join field protection assistants in monitoring protection issues affecting refugees from Syria and Jordanian host population.
• Under the technical guidance of the Protection Coordinator, strengthen existing referral mechanisms and set up specific referral pathways.
• With support of the Protection Coordinator and Humanitarian Project Manager, follow-up with humanitarian actors about requests and invitations for community sessions.
• Work closely with Humanitarian Project Manager to support the host community team in strategising, planning for, formation of and supporting to the integrated community-led groups
• Coordinate and lead capacity building of community-led structures on protection related issues.
• Explore and develop tools, methodologies and guidelines to improve information sharing on vital information and services available for refugees and host communities.
• With support of the Humanitarian Project Manager and Protection Coordinator, develop and update relevant Information, Education and Communication tools (leaflets, brochures, posters etc.).
• Coordinate and organize regular mapping of services available in the area of intervention.
• Support the Humanitarian Project Manager in developing safe programming and conflict-sensitive approaches to the humanitarian response.
• Foster an integrated approach for activities planning and during implementation.
• Provide written feedback about protection-related incidents, issues and other aid-related community-conflicts
• In collaboration with the Protection Coordinator and the Humanitarian Project Manager, ensure program staff are fully trained on existing referral systems and relevant SOPs.

Advocacy and research:
• Support protection-related advocacy researches and surveys in coordination with the Protection Coordinator and the Policy Officer.
• Support Program Team for preparing written protection updates for Oxfam situation reports.

Coordination:
• Develop lines of communication and close collaboration with the PHE and PHP teams and contribute to a coordinated humanitarian response.
• Liaise with logistic and procurement to ensure protection activities have the required resources in good time. Complete and keep records of the necessary paperwork.
• Attending working groups and meetings in coordination with the line manager and the Protection Coordinator.
• Coordinate field activities with other Oxfam team.
• Attending internal meetings.

MEAL and reporting:
• Produce gendered protection updates that will be included in field visit reports
• Organise and prepare regular protection analysis
• Contribute in Sitreps, Host Community Program biweekly/monthly reports, donor reports and proposals.
• Prepare weekly and monthly plans and facilitation of community awareness sessions on basic and specialist protection services using approaches that promote gender equality
• Support and coordinate with MEAL Officers and assistants for baseline survey, post-distribution and other monitoring activities.
• Submit monthly MEAL reports to track the beneficiary numbers of the project(s) activities
• Support country teams to ensure MEAL processes are engendered and include protection to ensure learning is captured.

Conduct focus group discussions, interviews and observations to obtain information about protection issues faced by refugees from Syria and Jordanian host populations
• Prepare for the community consultations and orientation sessions about refugee rights, entitlements, registration, basic and specialist services in the districts
• Support the programme officer and work with local NGO partners and community groups to coordinate community based orientation sessions - working with counterpart in partner organisation where possible

Skills

• Demonstrable experience in working with communities in humanitarian or development contexts
• Demonstrable experience in using participatory research and assessment methodologies
• Good understanding of protection and refugee issues related to conflict including some basic human rights and refugee
• Good levels of spoken and written English and Arabic
• Commitment to a rights-based approach, gender equality and protection
• Proven analytical skills
• Understanding of monitoring processes, learning, adaptation and evaluation
• Ability to work in multi-cultural team
• Willingness to work in insecure environments and a high level of adaptability and initiative
