Kepco KPS Philippines Corp. is a partner of Kepco Ilijan Corporation that used to manage 1200MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, one of the largest power generating plants in the Philippines.
The company is specialized in the maintenance and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment.

Listed below are my responsibilities and competencies as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer situated in the Power Plant:
• Strong background in power plant electrical systems; generators, low to medium voltage motors and switchgears, static frequency converters, motor operated valves, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), lighting system, and power panel.
• Experienced in plant shutdown and synchronization plans of generating unit.
• Implemented and supervised routine and scheduled preventive maintenance, safety standard and other technical issues.
• Experienced in overhauling of electrical equipment; transformers, generators, motors, circuit breakers, motor control centres (MCC).
• Experienced in testing, commissioning and maintenance of a 500kV switchyard, transformer, protection scheme and protection relays.
• Well-versed in over-all maintenance activities (troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance) of all electrical equipment.

Keppel Batangas Shipyard is a major ship care centre in the Philippines servicing international and local ship owners. It specializes in the repair, conversion and building of various types of vessels as well as the fabrication of marine and industrial structures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Was designated as the Engineer-in-charge for all electrical activities.
• Coordinated all plans and safety procedures in conducting the repair and maintenance of their ship with the ship crew
• Addressed all the concerns and needs of the ship crew to ensure that we regularly meet the service satisfaction especially when it comes to the maintenance and repair of their ship.
• Provided lightings and shore power that is necessary to support electrical equipment.
• Was responsible in the overhauling and testing of motors, electrical panel and generators.
• Handled quotations, made necessary comparisons and applied relevant price analysis techniques to arrive at the best option taking into account the quality of service and cost effectivity.

Kepco Ilijan Power Corporation was the second largest combined cycle power plant in the Philippines generating 1200 MW. The company is well known of producing highly competitive employee and trainee in the field of operation and maintenance, strategic planning, and quality control.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performed typical unit test, system test, field test and other support activities
• Worked under the direction of a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to evaluate electrical systems and to determine if repair or replacement is required.
• Designed and simulated circuit chosen for implementation.
