•Reviewed the state wise progress of various housing schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), Indira Awas Yojana (IAY) and Rajiv Awas Yojana (RAY), etc.
•Conducted a research on the Affordable Housing Policies in India.
•Found out the challenges involved in affordable housing, need of Affordable housing and evaluated the demand-supply gap in various cities as well as among various income groups.
•Conducted data analysis to ascertain the factors affecting demand of housing in India, at HSMI.
•The paper is being considered for publication in HUDCO.
