Job Profile: As Cost Control Manager, designing forecast strategy to estimate ideal project duration for construction and was responsible for the following functions and with defined Key Performance Indices

Strategic Planning:
• Conceptualizing strategic business plans to set the business directions of the companies for expansion & modernization.

Commercial Operations:
• Acting as a key commercial interface between the internal Business Units as well as functions (quantity surveyors, project managers, planning, finance, procurement, & production),
• Coordinating with Client and the Management Team on all project commercial and contractual matters.

Project Planning & Management:
• Managing overall operations for executing projects within the cost and time norms.

• Preparing project schedules and monitoring projects with respect to Cost, Resource Deployment, Time over-runs and Quality Compliance to ensure timely execution of projects.
• Providing commercial leadership and direction within a multi project discipline and sharing responsibility with the Project Managers for the contractual and financial delivery of the project in accordance with the
project execution and financial plan.

Financial Control & Budgeting:
• Implementing financial results, forecasting system for providing accurate future results projections & budgeting system.
• Ensuring timely compilation & presentation of budgets, monthly financial reports, implementing internal controls, & reporting the same.
• Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine diference between projected figures & actual expenditure & implementing corrective actions.

Contract Administration:
• Managing the tendering process from floating of bids to awarding of contracts; coordinating with contractors regarding techno-commercial negotiations, cost statements, etc.
• Interpreting contractual obligations & rights and evaluation of technical / financial problems for management reporting to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters.
• Efectively managing the sub contractors performance and their claims.
• Preparing and submitting variation claims to the customer.
• Ensuring that clear and accurate records of contractual matters are maintained.
• Coordinating warranties, performance bonds & insurance and ensuring that they are in place in accordance with the main contract and any subcontract conditions
• Ensuring compliance with the project specific contractual administration requirements
Cost Planning & Management:
• Spearheading cost reduction initiatives consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added processes & complete re-engineering of processes and systems.
• Making efective use of cost analysis tools in support of strategic sourcing process, procurement costs, cost reduction metrics and bottom-line performance indicators.
• Managing group of cost controllers & quantity surveyors efectively and controlling of all running projects in terms of project accounting, quantity, and contractual terms.
• Planning, leading, and reporting financial cost for large scale construction projects in every aspect from development and review of estimates to cash flow projection.
MIS:
• Updating in timely manner the top management on any deviations in terms of both cost and duration of project.
• Preparing timely job performance reports & discussing the same with the project management team
• Evaluating the cost to complete any deviation
