Responsibilities and duties
Safety leadership, Familiarity with Health, Safety, Quality Standard. Familiarity with Construction/ Project Management Software MS office.Understand and ensure compliance with appropriate technical standards and specifications. Lead and manage a multi-discipline construction team
Understand construction/commissioning activities and methods
Prepare resource plans to ensure suitable resources are available to execute the works, in accordance with the agreed plan. This to include the necessary tooling and temporary requirements which are to be managed and controlled in a cost-effective manner.Input and support to daily and weekly planning schedules and co-ordination meetings. Involvement with the management of and input to shutdown planning.
Prepares and implement Project Execution Plan (PEP).
Management of End to End projects related to feed engineering, construction, Cost Control, Project Management & Execution.
Planning, Budgeting and Costing; Ensure that job is well planned, budget is prepared and ensure that all the resources (including HR, materials, and equipment’s) necessary for execution are within stipulated budget allocated to the project in order to control the cost of the project.
Ensure the implementation of Project Planning, Control & Monitoring tools/techniques and financial reviews with the senior Management.Ensure timely and efficient deliverables on site by managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the project.
Mobilization of available staff on site and hiring new staff if required in coordination with HR. • Oversee performance of all site staff to enforce project standards and ensure scope of work, specifications and regulations are being followed.
Accountable to create a safe working environment, manages risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of QHSE policy.
Close Coordination and follow-up with all support functions/departments i.e Commercial, HR/Admin, Finance etc, to ensure that all the required support is timely furnished to all projects. Timely billing of progress invoicing and collection as per contract terms & conditions.
Meet contractual conditions of Project performance, with respect to clarification during the tender phase .Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized, while ensuring the client’s needs and wants are efficiently met.
Review projects on a daily basis to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates remain within budget. Supervise construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and exceed the customer’s requirements.
Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the building process from hiring contractors and attends the Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client) and reviews and approves of Minutes of Meetings. Monitors work in progress and reviews weekly report of the status of each assignment. Interpret clients' requirement. Ensures all procedures and calculations are submitted to the client for review and approval.
Ensure interfaces/requirements between all disciplines are incorporated where required, to achieve objectives. Report project progress of close-out on weekly basis for presentation to management.
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path; Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables; Evaluate, organize and prioritize workload within a schedule
Issue status reports to the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas; Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans; Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and subcontractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work; Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Conduct project lessons learned meetings and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements; Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Able to demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing in the various disciplines, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Seek guidance on areas beyond technical knowledge and manage implementation of solutions. Provide guidance and input during project implementation. Time to time review of technical proposals and make amendments as to make the proposal viable

Work Shop & Site Management
Identifying & developing a reliable Vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment, accessories, material with timely delivery so as to minimize project cost.
Coordinating with Main Contractors; monitor their performance in view of project schedule. Settle all techno-commercial disputes / clarifications during execution of project.
Preparing piping layout drawings for fabrication and pipe and other detailed fabrication of drawings.
Participate in Risk Assessment, HAZOP and Constructability reviews.
Executing Safety and HAZOP reviews, 3D plant design and P&I reviews.
Support the project engineer in developing project documents such as ITT packages, Project Design Specifications, etc
Implementing QA/ QC procedures, Total Quality Management principles and checks.
Conducting erection with alignment & commissioning the system of rotating & static equipment’s, gas engine, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, columns, reactors, storage & tanks. Preparation of piping layout drawings for fabrication and pipe and other detailed fabrication of drawings.
Site execution of pipe’s fabrication, erection and commissioning of various grades piping materials as per international standards and nonferrous & non-metallic pipes.
