• Reading and interpreting the contract documents, structural drawings, specifications, and HSE requirements, together with any associated updates, prior to the commencement of the work.
• Reviewing submittals (i.e., pre-qualification, material submittals, shop drawing method statements, etc.) based on IFC
drawings, specifications, and codes of practice.
• Verifying all materials used are in compliance with the approved material, witnessing the in-situ and off-site tests, and
reviewing all test reports carried out by an independent laboratory as per the project specification.
• Reviewing RFI, recommending technical solutions, and liaising with structural and architectural designers and clients to resolve technical difficulties.
• Verifying that the job was completed in accordance with the contract, upholding QA/QC requirements, managing material inspection and work inspection, and ensuring code compliance Maintaining records of the contractor's
manpower and equipment daily resources and checking against submitted contractors' daily reports.
• Regularly visiting the site to identify potential non-conformances, issuing site observation reports (SOR), and issuing non-conformance reports (NCR) in case non-compliances occur.
• Ensuring project safety guidelines are being met and reporting non-compliant activities to the HSE Representative and/or Resident Engineer/Project Manager.
• Assisting and collaborating with clients, senior management, and project personnel in meeting project.
• Ensuring projects runs smoothly and that the structure is completed on time and within budget
• Developing and implementing project quality plan.
• Reviewing and developing various quality assurance documents /records (prequalification, material submittals, shop drawing submittals, method statement, ITP, test reports, etc.
• Witnessing tests conducted by a third-party laboratory and attending during testing and commissioning.
• Liaising with the technical engineers to close all non‐conformance reports (NCR) and site observation reports (SOR) issued by the client and supervision consultant during the quality audit and quality inspection.
• Inspection of materials and executed works as per approved material submittal and approved shop drawings.
• Conducting internal audit and second party audit according to the Audit Schedule.
• Attending technical and quality meetings with the consultant and client representative.
• Leading and conducting quality control training.
• Ensure calibration and availability of valid calibration certificates for all equipment and measuring devices.
• Reviewing all quality documents such as project Quality manual, Drawings, etc.
• Witnessing all the tests that are carried out on the fresh concrete and hardened concrete.
• Supervision of unloading, storage, and installation of materials.
• Closing external NCRs and SORs received from the client without delay.
• Ensuring sampling of materials is carried out as per project specifications.
• Follow up and submission of test results in coordination with the procurement department and independent lab.
• Preparation and submission Monthly Quality reports and follow - up on all KPIs.
To liaise with clients and contractor's staff to determine and verify project requirements.
