Involved in Ashghal Infrastructure related cable diversion works, cable tunnel works, Qrailworks, Underground cable operation and maintenance, Commissioning of new cable circuits

•Secondary injection testing of Argus1 Over Current and Earth fault protection relay and built in Trip circuit supervision function. Testing of master Trip relays TR221, Testing of CTs and VTs in 11kV SWGR
•3.3 kV Circuit Breaker timing test
•3.3 kV Cable testing
•Bus bar contact resistance test and CB contact resistance test
•Accuracy test of indicating type panel meters A/V/MVAR/MW
•Interlock checking between CB and circuit earth switch / bus bar earth switch.
•Control wiring check
•Secondary injection testing of REF (Restricted Earth Fault) Protection relay type MCAG 14.
•CT testing
•Bus bar and CB contact resistance measurement
•Accuracy test of indicating type panel meters A/V/pf
•2 out of 3 Interlock checking between Incomer 1, Bus Coupler and Incomer 2 Air Circuit Breakers.
•Control wiring check and Red Mark drawing preparation
•2kV AC Rms Power frequency High Voltage withstand test

•Assisted in project needs assessment material purchase and action plan
Involved in the following testing and commissioning activities in 132/11KV S/S Dubai Electricity and Water Authority DEWA Ras Al Khor, Internet city UAE through Emirates Electrical Engineering Co. (deputed from Delta Star LLC)
•Involved inside substation power cable testing
•Complete testing of CTs, VTs and its connections and termination according to the DEWA approved schematic diagram.
• Testing of Alstom / VATECH make relays like MVAA, MVAX, MVAJ, TR221, Guard Relay MCRI - Pick up, Drop off, Timing and contact continuity / resistance check
•Switch gear mV drop test
•Primary injection up to Relay and Control panels.
•11kV control cubicle Function tests
•Pre witness preparation check of Protection panels in accordance with Schematic diagram
Involved in the following testing and commissioning activities
substation primary equipment, Power cable and relay testing as project Engineer in various gulf countries like UAE, Oman, Qatar
•Between 2002 and 2003 involved in substation primary equipment, auxiliary relay testing in India
