JOB CAPABILITIES:

•Review and approving the contractor engineering and design documents for the 110kV, 132kV and 380kV EHV-SVC project and 500kV HVDC project, such as design, calculation, FAT, Type test report, ITP, Contractors drawings and Vendor documents.
•Preparation of SOW and PTS (Project Technical Specification).
•Design calculations - CT/PT sizing, HV/LV Cable sizing, Earthing/Lightning protection system, Transformer sizing, AC/DC UPS sizing, Battery sizing, lighting, DG sizing, NGT/NGR sizing Lighting.
• Layouts - Design and preparation of substation layouts, Cable trays, raceways layout, Equipment layout, Lighting and Grounding layouts.

•Design and Preparation of Overall Single Line Diagram, Metering & Protection SLD, Power system configuration option including Medium voltage distribution and low-voltage installations.
•Preparing Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) of various Electrical equipments.
•Preparing RFQ’s and Purchase Orders for above mentioned equipment’s
•Selection of Equipment models as per technical specifications
•Technical clarification meetings and Kick of meetings (KOM) with vendors
•Reviewing Vendor Drawings for Power Transformer, LV/MV Switchboards, UPS systems, HV/LV cable, Distribution Panels, Motor data sheets, Motor GA drawings etc.
•Hazardous area classification layout drawings.
•Interacting with other Construction/Field engineering Disciplines for queries
•Co-ordination with client/contractor/manufacturer for document/drawing approvals.
•Exposed to Company’s Safety Norms, Quality Assurance and Documentation procedures
•Shop inspection of all electrical equipment like motor control centers, motors, transformers, control panels.
•Cables, based on approved vendor drawings and routine test requirements.
•Knowledge about Power system analysis - load flow, short circuit, and stability using EDSA / ETAP
•Materials follow up, inspection and verification.

SITE MANAGEMENT:

•Planning and managing of man power
•Conducting periodic checks to ensure Drawing packages.
•Co-ordination with Client, Consultants and sub-contractors.
•Coordinating material/spare parts planning related activities encompassing identification of vendors, requirement specification & offer evaluation.
•Executing the construction activities at site
•Assistance to Testing & commissioning team
•Coordinating equipment delivery and preservation at site as per spec
•Inspections to ensure that equipment’s are in compliance with specifications and factory inspection results.
•Ensure the Safety of Manpower and Resources by the strict implementation of Client HSE system
•Maintaining documents and records
•Method statements preparation &follow up for approvals
•Ensuring the Safety of workforce and Company Assets
•Follow up day to day activities and review progress
•Training to the field crew to carry out the work to meet spec.
•Implement QCP & ITP procedures at site.
•Mentoring a team of engineers/Supervisors/Technicians & knowledge sharing with fellow engineers
•Working experience with LOA/ PTW system in the entire project which I have worked in different countries standards and local norms
