Managing the software delivery of Omni Channel e-commerce sites; Luxury - www.ounass.ae, Lifestyle - nisnass.com and Mono brands - www.gap.ae, www.mamasandpapas.ae

Main responsibilities include coaching and continuous improvement, setting objectives, recruiting, improving development processes and leading software delivery. I have lead 30+ engineers in development, testing and deployment of agile projects. 

• Became the bridge between technology team and business. Align output with the business needs, introduce checkpoints and constantly course-correct. I have been fortunate to work with extraordinary individuals that all I am required to do is removing impediments, closing the communication gaps, giving other parts of business the visibility they require.

• I have managed offshore teams and partners where they helped to scale different parts of the business. I have been responsible for FTE planning, processes, hiring and controlling budget.

• Coordinated and represented technology team to work with internal and external stakeholders for brand launches and day-to-day operations including but not limited to Retail IT, CRM, Buying, Planning, Royalty Programs, Financial, Treasury, Warehouse & Logistics 

• Took the initiative to change the organization of whole technology department; we have shaped cross-functional, autonomous, tightly aligned teams. Each team represents a core functionality of e-commerce platform: from catalog to fulfillment. A new journey for our technology team is ahead as teams take the responsibility of customer needs.

I have created a microservice infrastructure runs on Amazon AWS. I have designed and coded the architecture heavily on open-source technologies; Python for backend real device management and RoR / Angular.js for customer web portal. MongoDB and noSQL have provided great flexibility.
Technology choices and execution have helped Quality to grow horizontally and successfully reaching/going beyond the global rivals of business.

Qualify has its own mobile-web test automation system, which helps companies to improve the quality of their application among a big number of real mobile devices & browsers in various configurations.

This was an immense challenge of both hardware and virtualization. Continuous Integration for all services have been a great success, including fully autonomous dockerized builds/tests.

Tmob is an environment with 50+ software developers working and 5 parallel stream of mobile applications projects are developing. I have managed software delivery for which industries were banking, e-commerce, insurance, entertainment, digital wallet, and beacon based positioning. 

As part of an agile culture establishment, I have worked together with CEO, Product Owners and all developers. We have achieved an agile scrum development culture where development became team oriented and business were given the predictability of software delivery.
