I manage the support to polio outbreak control room project across 21 African countries including Somalia, Zambia, Madagascar, Mozambique, Senegal, Guinea Bissau and DR Congo to mention a few. The project supports respective governments to strengthen their health systems through the provision of state-of-the-art Public Health Emergency Operations Centers as well as other technical expertise such as Geographic Information Systems to support the early detection and mitigation of public health emergencies.
