Leading the Slsecurity architecture and security projects function for Arab Bank PLC covering 12 countries.
Responsible for the complete IT security for capital group (Capital Bank of Jordan, Capital Investment, National Bank of Iraq).
Working in the IT-Security Team which is managing and Supporting IT Security Operations
across the Arab Bank infrastructure worldwide, as well as managing implementation of all
the IT Security projects. Participating in defining the requirements and setup the IT
strategic goals and operational processes.
Key Roles:
● Currently Working on implementing SIEM solution (Arcsight).
● Handling projects implementation and operation.
● Periodic Vulnerability & Penetration tests process handling of all
outbound/inbound assets.
● Provide best practices, checklist and Support hardening of infrastructure assets.
● Respond, investigate and produce written reports on all information security
incidents and breaches.
● Information Security audit and compliance follow up.
● Evaluate, Implement and manage security solutions / projects across the Arab
Bank globally
● follow up ITC to ensure proper use and implementation of security solution in
Arab bank globally
● Continuously Evaluate IT security threats / needs for Arab Bank globally and
develop, design, recommend counter measures.
● Develop security standards and manuals for all systems
● Manage Arab Bank security devices (Firewall, HIPS, IPS, IDS, …, etc) installed on
perimeter network (internet, intranet and extranet).
● Participate in IT security incidents response, provide security event analysis,
higher level support and manage remediation
● Follow up and verify compliance of IT system with Bank technical controls
● Participate in providing other departments with the necessary security consulting
and advisory services and security recommendations for new IT solutions and
services
● Participate in the selection of IT solutions / services to cover the security
aspects of the solutions
● Security counterparty for the bank outsourced managed security services
● Follow up security related audit findings, vulnerability reports, IT security
incidents after-action reports and recommendations and implement proper
solutions / actions to close them.
Working as Core Network Engineer (Networking and Security)
Responsible for designing and implementing core network, installation and maintenance of point-to-point communication equipment, installing supporting and maintaining new server hardware and software infrastructure, monitoring network usage, undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security.
Implemented Projects:
*Blink Communications Core Network designing, planning, and implementation.
*Blink Communications Network Monitoring System, building it from scratch.
*Blink Communications Cloud Computing, migrating Blink Infrastructure to Virtualized environment. (Planning, Designing, and Implementation).
*Building Blink Backup Product from Scratch.
(Working as offshore network engineer for WeightWatchers.com-New York- USA)
Working on a 24/7 basis to fulfill the following responsibilities:
• Ensure the reliability of web and data communications/services at all times and assist Aspire departments/clients in gaining access to network services.
• Minimize downtime so that network availability approaches 100%.
• Coordinate professional and timely resolution of network troubles.
• Provide effective problem management for communication services.
• Manage network changes and moves to minimize disruption.
• Monitor critical network components to detect failures and degraded performance.
• Identify problem areas and coordinate corrective action before services are affected.
I was working as Web Developer.
The work includes the whole software development life cycle, starting from requirement gathering, ending with software maintenance.
Master's degree in computer, information, and network security with concentration in network security.
