 Developed sound knowledge in operation & maintenance of Rotating & Stationary equipment such as pumps, centrifugal, screw and reciprocating type compressors, Fans, rotors, gas turbines, cooling tower, shaft alignment, guide blades, fans, blowers, overhauling and repairing, hydraulic & pneumatic systems and combined cycle power plant.
 Insured the continuous implementation of a preventive maintenance program including the planning and coordination of major scheduled maintenance outages.
 Preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance of mechanical Equipment.
 Administer the maintenance and improvement of the boiler and steam related systems.
 Confirms equipment or parts needed for a particular job and rates them in their order of priority in order to make effective use of planned down times.
 Provide emergency/unscheduled and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
 Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
 Plan and coordinate shutdowns (major and minor).
 Supervise contractors used during special circumstances such as shutdowns.
 Keeps the Maintenance Manager informed of abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside the Planner's knowledge or authority.
 Identifies recommendations and or areas for improvements.
 Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.

Involved in planning and daily monitoring and progress review of maintenance.

Collaborate with cost control and planning department to prepare the daily progress reports.

Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc. required for all mechanical and related works prior to execution.

Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis.

Submits daily corrective and maintenance reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis as required. 

Attends regular meeting with higher officials and vendors to take and/or provide updates.

Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved standards set by firm

Proficient in reading drawings and manuals in mechanical engineering discipline.

Responsible for the safety of Mechanical personnel by ensuring that the project is executed according to applicable health, safety and environmental standards. 

Give day to day technical support for breakdown diagnostics & repair, including risk and failure analysis.

Improve & update the maintenance (preventive & predictive) program regularly.

Update & continuously improve equipment reliability.

Identify, select & update the required spare part list.

Control work performance & monitor work quality and taking corrective actions for process improvement.

Make Purchase Request to Purchase Department.

Lead or participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis

Member of HAZOP committee to ensure the mechanical department as a apart of safety.

Responsible for spare parts: determining the minimum level of in-stock spare parts, determining the model/type of spare parts, determining the servicing and repair strategy.


EDUCATION


B.TECH in Mechanical engineering fromALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY with first division (with HONS degree -more than 75%)

12th (Phy, Chem, Math)   from state board (BIEC) with first division.

10th from BCEB from state board (BSEB) with first division.



CERTIFICATION, PROJECT AND SCHOLARSHIP


Attestation by Saudi Cultural Attache Ministry of external Affairs and HRD of B.Tech degree completed.

Undergone accreditation of certificates from Saudi Council of Engineers and was awarded certified Mechanical Engineer.

One year study &research project on Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC)

Power Plant under the supervision of Prof. A.A.Nizami (Dean Faculty of Engineering & technology, AMU)

One (1) month training in Compressed air generation and distribution in Tata tube.

Recipient of the prestigious Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Jeddah scholarship.
