• Perform analytical reconciliation of costing and budgeting; and compile & disseminate cost variance analysis reports, and provide relevant advice to Management.
• Identify and assess potential changes or trends that may impact cost, and incorporate the approved changes and deviations; and provide proposals and recommendations for cost and expenditure adjustments.
• Review documentation for purchase orders to ensure that they are in line with the DoA and the approved budget.
• Plan and implement appropriate adjustments on strategy for cost allocation and budget utilisation to meet the business needs and align with the overall business plans.
• Manage and control the valuation of inventory, project activities, and product.
• Identify, develop, and maintain a dashboard of KPIs and Score-cards to monitor the effectiveness of the deployed policies, strategy and plans.
• Perform data analysis and prepare timely and comprehensive reports.
• Partake in the preparation of financial statements, budgets and financial plans.
• Ensure that company data, information, documentations and reports are kept updated and archived physically and electronically in line with the approved policy.
• Ensure that the principal risks, including but not limited to, environmental, operational, financial, geological, legal and regulatory risks, are identified and that appropriate systems are in place which effectively monitor, mitigate and communicate those risks.
• Manage the engagement with the auditors through effective collaboration and prompt and comprehensive responses to assure the successful closure of audit observations.
• Partake in testing the effectiveness of the design and implementation of Internal Controls over financial reporting (ICoFR).
