• Supervise and direct quality control team members.
• Designs and implements quality systems and programs to ensure consistent achievement of quality & food safety standards.
• Follow up on implemented programs (GMPs, Good Hygiene Practices, HACCP, Allergen Control, Cleaning and Sanitation, Pest Control, Equipment Calibration, Organic Certification, etc.) to ensure compliance by all employees and other personnel in the manufacturing facility.
• Investigate and correct quality-related issues including customer complaints through collaboration with other departments.
• Participate in all regulatory, third party and customer audits and inspections, and corrective action response.
• Execute Supplier Quality Assurance program through supplier Audits and verify FSMS through internal audits.
• Participate in R&D activities and conducts trainings related to food safety and health and safety.
• Implement, review and continuously improve food safety, Health & Safety and environmental safety system standards.
• Conduct food safety and Brand audits and Inspections in a professional manner following the audit plan and Company standards. Plan and conduct Food Safety internal audit for restaurant operations & ensure implementation of action plans.
• Deliver various levels of food safety trainings internally, identify and coordinate external trainings to ensure employee awareness and regulatory compliance. Analyze Training effectiveness and maintain relevant training records.
• Conduct investigations to identify the root cause in the event of food safety related customer complaints, regulatory inspections etc. Ensure the timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop new food safety procedures, guidelines, and manuals as per business requirements.
• Conduct supplier evaluation for all existing high-risk suppliers and approval audits for new suppliers to ensure sourcing safety.
• Conduct Periodic Risk assessment and Hazard analysis when introducing new product or process.
• Act as a technical contact for Dubai municipality food watch platform.
• Deal with a wide range of products including Rice, Dal, spices, masala, breakfast cereals, Jam, pickle, tea coffee, oil and ready to eat (Heat and eat) products as well as idli and dosa batter.
• Act as a HACCP team leader and ISO Coordinator.
• Implemented ISO 22000-2018, ISO 45001-2018, ISO 14001-2 015 & ISO 9001-2015.
• Plan and conduct Food Safety internal audit for various operations & ensure implementation of action plans. ( Nellara Restaurants, Manufacturing units and Supermarket).
• Conduct supplier evaluation for all existing high-risk suppliers and approval audits for new suppliers to ensure sourcing safety
• Specify quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers.
• Familiar with Dubai Municipality Regulations, Worked on product registration, label assessment and product release system (Dubai municipality FIRS System.)
• Review customer feedback and respond to any complaints.
• Study and implement new local, state, and federal regulations as outlined by the statutory and regulatory authorities and ensure the company’s compliance.

• Promote of safe working practices, safety alerts, take part in tool-box-talks and QHSE trainings.
• Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency.

• Conduct Pre-operational risk assessment on new sites and design risk mitigation measures.
