Job Responsibilities
Managing Active Directory for User’s & Computers on MS Windows Server 2012.
Managing Internet Access for User’s & Groups on ISA Server 2006 on Domain.
Create, configure and Manage VPN accounts on Terminal Server for various projects sites.
Manage Backup for SAP & Oracle DB with VERITAS Net backup on SUN StorageTek L48 System.
Install, Configure and Manager Document Management System (DMS) - ArcMate8 on Windows Server 2012 & SQL Server 2012. Managing Users, Database & Repositories creation for all Departments & Projects.
Manage Common Shared File Server, Print Server & Antivirus Server. Also Manage Daily Auto & Weekly Manual backup of users shared data on File Server
Manage and Monitor Network Printers (MFP) centrally, Inventory of Assets & Users Information.
Install and Configure SAP ERP client and DMS client setup for all Users.
Lead a Team of 8 Support Engineers for In House and Projects support as IT In-charge.
Install & configure Windows 2003, 2008 & 2012 on IBM x & HP G6 series Servers with RAID 5 configuration.
Co-ordinate between Management and Project Heads to overcome their requirements & Support.
Systems support and administration.
Troubleshoot & Installation of HW / SW.
Network cabling and crimping.
Backup
• Check Server’s for Updates as per scheduled and installed the same on immediate effect.
• Manage Trend Micro Antivirus Server for Clients update and monitor scheduled scanning.
• Monitoring WSUS for regular updates.
• Performing Project Data Backups weekly and on Closure. System State Backup Monthly.
• Install and configure new hardware and software’s as per Projects requirement.
• Manage Active Directory (Users & Computers) and confirm for successful Replication.
• Manage Intranet Mail Server (Alt-N MDaemon) and Web-mail Server for Melstar.com.
• Manage Technical support issues related to Mails and OS, DB and application installations.
• Managing ISA server for Firewall & Intranet Access settings for live hosting internal website.
• Manage and update Infrastructure and Software Inventory.
• Troubleshoot any reported problems related to Outlook, Printers and other Application’s.
• Manage/supervise Installation, Maintenance and System Performance monitoring.
• Manage User Accounts (ADS).
• Troubleshoot Mail problems, Printer problems and Data/Application Backup.
• Configure Oracle Client applications with Oracle Database on Application Servers.
• Configure latest HP LaserJet and Multifunction Network Printers .
• Manage Inventory system for all Assets under I.T of Ministry of PAI.
• Also manage the above-mentioned range of HP printers and others on Network.
• Configure Cisco switches and locate the same as per intimated.
Project: Public Authority for Industry, State of Kuwait.
Completed CISCO Certified Network Associate successfully in the year 2005.
Completed Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering with Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 Successfully in the year 2003
