• Ensure continuous follow up with consultants on ongoing projects and upcoming tenders.
• Build up a professional specification know how, tools, database and Network.
• Develop strategic plans and high-level corporate relationships with the technical decision makers.
• Responsible for preparing submittals, technical proposals, and conducting seminars.
• Assist sales team to close sales opportunities, as well as proactively generate new business opportunities.
• Deliver technical presentations and introduce company’s services.
• Specify Company’s brands based on Consultant’s recommendation and vision.
• Ensure continuous research and studies on new and potential suppliers.
• Review and approve technical submittals from consultants.
• Defining products per project specifications and elaborating related compliance sheets.
• Work on Value engineering for specific projects in order to present optimum solution for Consultants, upon need.
• Ensuring samples presentation to Consultants verifying materials approval upon delivery.
• Carry on sites visits on some cases, where support is needed.
• Upon need, work on lux calculations using Dialux Evo in order to reflect compliance with international lighting norms and standards.
• Manage a team of technical engineers, in terms of vacations, absences, daily work schedule and visits, projects updates and regular reporting.
• Prepare a periodic Business plan for team members, sharing it with them and following up on implementation day by day.
• Ensure internal training for new and current team members, in order to educate on projects, lighting fixtures, suppliers brands and consultants briefing.
• Back up and assist the sales team when they’re in the field delivering projects.
Track new business opportunities.
Products presentations and demonstration for consultants and designer.
Approach Key Accounts/consultation firms for implementation of new solutions.
Maintain close coordination with Logistics to ensure smooth operations.
Promoting the brand and networking with specifiers and developers to increase product awareness.
Working towards national/international sales targets via specifications.
Prepare Financial/Technical proposals for projects.
• Locate & propose potential business deals.
• Responsible for identifying requirements and priorities that will aid in the development of lighting solutions and managing budget on pre-entered contracts.
• Understanding Client Requirement.
• Meeting up potential clients and converting sales.
• Coordinating with procurement & logistics and making sure the projects are executed on time.
• Achieving technical specification requirements and project budgets targets.
• Review Lighting Technical Submittals, Specifications, Quotations, and Lighting Studies.
• Creating the theme relative to the project premises Product application selection, Technical package development, Presentations & simulations.
• Prepare BOQ preparation, budget preparation, submittal proposal.
• Site inspection, commissioning and handover.
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services.
Lighting Technical Specifications Engineer for Siraj Lighting Company
Provide technical training and support in lighting.
Lighting, emergency central battery Design drawing and shop drawings .
Support the sales team in the acquisition phase with light technical input.
Assisting salespeople by giving presentations and demonstration of products for interior designers, consultants and contractors.
Assure work meets business needs, applicable codes and standards of quality.
Specifying the suitable lighting fixtures or alternatives to such specifications considering environmental conditions.
Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish lighting design, installation standards and specifications.
Define the technical specifications delivered to the client based on consultant requirements.

• Liaise with head office and Client, Erection team, or Sub-Contractors at site.
• Preparing handing over documents and As Built Drawings.
• Ensure the co-ordination in between civil and electromechanical activities and cover any interference if any.
• Supervise and lead supervisors who lead the team of technicians and workers to perform on-site electrical work.
• Prepare reports on job status, and task completions.
• Ensure that safety rules adhere to regulatory standards.
• Prepare B.O.Q. and ordering of material as per time schedule.
• Closing Phase: Ensure project handover and achieve all of project milestones and obtain customer satisfaction.
