- Meeting clients and communicating the ideas in a clear manner via presentations, discussions and drawings .
- Responsible for managing the design functions on projects as assigned including liaising with architecture on interior space planning, engineering a specialty functions throughout all phases from feasibility to operations .
- Liaising with the development and delivery departments to ensure effective design management
- Leading interior Design team for each assigned project including key scope, schedule and cost .
- Assisting in the tender selection process specifically related to the appointment of prequalified interior contractors, including adjudication and evaluation process .
-Participate in client meetings and confirm our understanding of the Client\'s project goals/requirements and communicate that to team members.
-Develop space programming and workplace strategies for projects.
-Generate a design that can be technically implemented, within the constraints of the client goals, budget and within local ordinances and codes.
-Lead or participate in presentations that communicate the design concepts to the Client -Inform and report to Director of Interior Design and project manager on project progress, quality and challenges that could impact project profitability or execution.
-Review schematic design, design development, shop drawings, construction documents and material samples for conformance with the design intent.
- Construct Computer Aided Design(CAD)drawings and 3D visuals for presentation Participate in research and presentation of design proposals to clients or managers.
- Produce the schematic design presentation package through Photoshop .
- Enhancing images and adding special effects.
- Assisting interior designers and architects in space planning and design details .
- Performs drafting operations for the determination
of project plans and collects data for Project designs . - Prepare 2D drawings - Sections, elevations and Plans (Demolition, Partitions, General Arrangement Finishes, Furniture, Reflected Ceiling) etc.
- Matching materials and colors.
- Alter models to meet new specifications.
- Supervising the sites, reviewing and discussing ideas
- Creating 3D models from architectural plans, rough sketches or real - life objects using rendering software - Prepare the detail Drawings ( joinery, Ceiling, Flooring) according to the international CAD Standard such as Layers, drawings numbering System annotation symbols
- Create drawings based on the specifications provided by interior designers, architects
- Receives and create sketches for new proposals and translate it onto the CAD software.
- Turn in the designs within the given strict deadline.
- Make sure that the plan meets prescribed interior or manufacturing standards.
- Visit the site and study it and collect data to determine the best possible design.
