Translating and editing media material such as TV programs, talk shows, and newscasts.
• Monitoring newspapers, analyzing press articles and reports, and selecting articles and reports to be translated and edited.
• Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained.
• Providing high-quality political and media translations from Arabic into English under high pressure.
Assist the Hotel Training Manager to analyze training needs and annual training plan preparation based on the business needs and the departmental training plans.
Co-ordinates and monitors the hotels monthly training plans.
Prepares a monthly calendar of training activities
Prepares and distributes the monthly training calendar and plan.
Develops and conducts training programs according to the hotels strategy to meet training needs of team members, supervisors, within the established budget.
Organizes and conducts a Welcome Day on a regular basis for new team members according to the standards.
Co-ordinates internal and external training programs.
Assists with identifying career opportunities for team members and with ensuring succession plans and development plans are in place in all areas.
Participates in the selection and certifying of Team Coaches.
Supervises the Team Coaches.
Motivates and counsel the Team Coaches (Skills trainers, departmental trainers) and ensures training manuals, Job skills certification, team members matrix’s and checklists are up to date.
Organizes monthly Team Coach Meetings.
Assists in the co-ordination of trainee programs (incl. Panorama - Elevator).
Maintains accurate training records of all team members.
Plans and follows-up cross exposures within and outside the hotel.
Assists in the organizational social activities.
Establishes and maintains effective team member relations
Assists in regional training activities preparation as required.
Keeps up to date with trends on the market.
Managing instructors and ensuring the implementation of the Berlitz learning cycle
Teaching Berlitz English conversational courses for individuals.
• Teaching Berlitz English conversational courses for Corporate.
