 Design calculation via ETAP for load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, transient analysis, cable design, equipment design. SLDs etc.
Drawings review as per design and construction perspective.
 Review of Method Statements, ITPs, Risk assessment, Pre-qualification submittal review, material submittal review, Material Inspections (MIR)
 Progress meetings, technical queries, official letters to client/contractor, site observations/Surveillance
 Contractor daily, weekly and monthly progress report review, comparison for Planed Vs Actual Vs Base Line progress (SPI, KPI)
 Provides schedule and progress appraisal report to the Senior Resident Engineer.
 Maintaining a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used etc. and signing/approving at the end of each day
 Monitoring quality of works and assessing the safety at the site including health and environmental issues ensuring the same complies with contracts/QCS specifications, safety and health risk assessment and environmental mitigating measures respectively on a daily basis
 Preparing surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at the site that is believed to have failed or if the contractor is not complying with verbal instructions and subsequently complete a non-conformance report (NCR) if required in view of the development of events
 Providing technical input and experiences to resolve Electrical and Utilities related issues on site that may arise
 Daily Site Inspections for LV, MV cable laying, Street lighting foundations formation, placement, Street lighting cable laying, SL1/SL2/SL3/SL4 ducts, Column erection, Luminaire installation, cable termination, Kahramaa EN4/EN6/H-type/2H-type ducts, Potable water service duct, telecommunication chambers and ducts, Feeder pillar KM metering unit installation, KM service Connection, shut down and jointing works
 Mockup for lighting lux measurement, SL-FP FAT test, Cable IR, Megger, continuity test
 Final inspection for testing and commissioning of KM cables, street lighting cables, street lighting pole energization, lux level, Dray utilities and Portable water ducts.
 Drawing review and inspection for protection of Existing utilities (KM LV/MV/HV/EHV, KM(w), Ooredoo, QNBN etc. as per the authority standards)
 Maintaining record of IR (Inspection Report), SOR (Site observation Report), NCR (Non Conformance Report), STQ (Site Technical Query), MIR (Material Inspection report), Change log, Meetings, Shop drawings, letters etc.
 Keeping, monitoring and following up as necessary and maintaining complete record(s) concerning the execution of the works
 Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
 Final handover

 Coordination with Main contractor, Consultant and KAHRAMAA regarding SWRs (Self Work Requests), Street lighting, SLFP, Service Cabinets. Prepare and submit Method Statements and Inspection test plans to be reviewed by ITAL Consult and KAHRAMAA. Submit proposals for modification to the permanent works as per site. Attend meetings with Client and Contractor on matters affecting the progress and quality.
 Ensure that the construction activities should comply with the Qatar Construction Standards, KAHRAMAA standards and Project specifications.
 Maintain trusted relationship with client and project management consultancy team. Associate with senior management in resolving quality issues and strategically to improve the progress.
 Lead the focus group meetings and follow up with main contractor for achieving targeted Milestones. Lead the Commitment to delivery meetings.
 Ensure that the cable excavation work/Equipment installation is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the contract document.
 Monitor the progress of the work, machinery and manpower. Coordinating.
 Daily site inspections and updating the progress of work. Identify the future possible constraints and alert the contractor. Commit to the Health safety and Environmental requirements and ensure Zero tolerance for safety.
 Working methodology as per site (Initial Survey for PTW, obtaining PTW, Existing Utilities scanning, Safety Permit to Work, excavation, RFI for Trench, bedding, RFI for cable laying, RFI for 2nd bedding and warning tape, 3rd bedding, backfilling, removing debris, backfilling, compaction, reinstatement, Final Handover RFI.
Street Lighting foundation placement/alignment, erection of poles, cable termination, earth pits, SLFP installation, service cabinet termination, KAHRAMAA shut downs.

 Work according to KAHRAMAA scheme drawings, record drawings, site conditions and latest KAHRAMAA standards related to underground distribution networks.
 Designs, plans and determines requirements for the installation, maintenance, restoration and/or relocation of routine underground distribution electrical networks.
 Recommends preliminary and long-range plans, estimates, budgets, material requirements, final plans, specifications, work schemes, instructions, and agreements.
 Reviews final plans, specifications, special conditions, agreements and coordinates the work of my jointers teams.
 Effectively conduct pre-job briefings and Provide instructions to jointing teams and answers questions concerning design issues.
 Jointing tools for terminating/jointing cable.
 Monitors progress of construction projects.
 Prepares progress and final reports and estimates.
 Submit daily site work done to KAHRAMAA to update ArcGIS software wise distribution network.
 Conducts tests of electrical equipments and materials to determine performance and efficiency.

 Work like
 Daily shut down works of low voltage 3 phase 440V to reinforce the existing infra structure distribution network. Testing and commissioning of 11KV substations indoor, outdoor, package. Cable Termination to transformers, RMUs, Feeder Pillars, service cabinets and electrical room cutouts. Cable laying/dressing/spacing/preservation in trenches and ducts/pipe. Instruct jointers for XLPE/PILC Straight through joints/splice, T-joints. MOC (method of connection) to customers including new service, upgrading service, temporary service, service relocation etc. strict follow of permission for work like RO2, RO3, RO4, Baladiya permission, TDP (Transport Diverting Plan for Road cutting), work near EHV cable (SIS), and utilities. Pre plan of shut downs for almost next one month. Cable route checking and submit a proposal according to green area, fence, interlock, asphalt, construction and vice versa. Work on KAHRAMAA SOFTWARE ArcGIS.

  Review contractor submittals for compliance with submission requirements and client needs.
 Review and approve submitted electrical materials/items and shop drawings and inspect executed work in reference to approved material and shop drawings in coordination with other discipline.
 Review of Shop drawing, proposed drawing, ASBUILT drawing, Method Statement, ITP, risk assessment
 Assisting senior engineer in evaluating change order proposals.
 Making effective communication and work collaboratively with Client and Contractor/Subcontractors in assuring work conforms with contract
 Performing field inspections in compliance with National Electrical Codes and approved shop drawings.
 Maintaining diary for daily executed works
 Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly progress reports
 Performing coordination for ongoing site operations
 Responding to Technical queries from contractor.
 Recording SOR, STR, NCR if any on site. Ensure site work as per the latest IFC, Shop Drawing Mehod statement and ITP. Follow the latest standards.
 Assistance of senior engineer in issuing of NCR.
 Review and comment on Electrical works ( LV, MV), substations & buildings.
 Supervision and witness of MDB, MSDB, FMDB, Feeder pillar and service cabinet termination and Installation.
 Ensure strict HSE and quality policies on all our works.

 Review contractor submittals for compliance with submission requirements and client needs.
 Review and approve submitted electrical items and shop drawings and inspect executed work in reference to approved material and shop drawings in coordination with other discipline.
 Assisting effective communication and work collaboratively with Client, Consultant and Contractor/Subcontractors in assuring work conforms with contract
 Performing field inspections in compliance with National Electrical Codes, IESCO (Islamabad Electric Supply Company) and approved shop drawings.
 Coordination for ongoing site operations
 Responding to Technical queries from consultant.
 Assistance senior engineer of Contractor for coordination in different civil works going parallel to electrical works.

 Electrical works (LV, MV) cable laying, termination, Megering, testing and commissioning Panel Mounted transformers.
 Supervision of the installation of Feeder pillar, service cabinet, DBs and MSDBs.
 Street lighting cable laying, poles joint boxes installation.
 Duct installation for cables and future use.
 DBs, MSDBs installation in Villa/school/mosque/sport hall.
 Wiring in cable trays, PVC pipes, Electrical Metallic Tubing, flexible pipe,
 Installation of pumps and motors control centres.
 Post tests for all cable works, equipment like pumping station, motors, LV panels, DBs, transformers etc.
 Ensure strict HSE and quality policies on all our works.
