Current Responsibility:
• Conduct the detailed study using previous records to preparation of Detailed Inspection Plan with applicable
codes and standards for Static Equipment (Pressure vessels, Coke Drums, Heat Exchangers, Tanks, Column,
Fin fan coolers, Filters, Reactors, Furnaces/heaters, relieve devices and corrosion loops piping system for
Turnaround to confirm the Integrity and Reliability.
• Detailed Inspection Plan preparation for Notification for corrective actions and MOCs for Turnaround Execution.
• After execution of first Turnaround 2018, To prepared the Detailed Inspection report in Meridium
with recommendation if require for further Inspection and Analysis.
• Now preparation of Detailed Inspection Plan of Scoped Static Equipment, Hot Corrosion Loop, opportunity Notification and MOCs is going on for Turnaround 2020.
• TMLs selection of Corrosion loop based on API 570, services and experience for Turnaround Execution.
• The all above activities preparation is doing with respect of all related Codes and Standards (API 510, API 570,
API571, API580, API653, API936, API 1996, API572, API574, API 577 and ASMEs/ASTMs).
• Visit the site to look each inspection related activities to Turnaround Scope preparation.
• Attaining the weekly meeting with Inspection head and operation with business team and providing necessary
action as per decided in the meeting.
• All Inspection reports are recorded in Meridium as well as hard copies for monitoring the Equipment and
corrosion loop status for further cycles based on calculating long term, short term corrosion and Remaining life.
• During Turnaround reviewing the all NDT reports such as FSECT, IRIS, UT, PT, UT Shear wave, TOFD,
RT, Corrosion mapping, MT, Thermography, PMI, Hardness test, Remote visual Inspection Report. ACFM,
PWHT, Metallography etc.
• Witness the hydro test for Heat Exchangers, MOC related piping system and Notification of corrective action.
• During Turnaround Execution, Detailed Internal and External Inspection Static Equipment and Corrosion loop
with NDT activities and reports review and record.
• Reviewing of and comments on materials, procedures, ITPs, Method of statements etc. of contractors to perform
the jobs during Execution.
• Reviewing QAP of the contractors for execution preparation.
• During execution perform Inspection including External and Internal as per approved ITPs.
• Reviewing the painting procedure and its system as per code & company standard to surface preparation
& application and measured with WFMT & DFT. Final DFT, Visual Inspection and preparation of daily
painting reports and final Inspection Reports.
• During execution daily co-ordinate with contractor to discussed regarding jobs.
• Before and during Turnaround we have meeting daily discussion regarding all jobs and all issues to remove
all difficulties during Turnaround Execution.
• During Turnaround Execution 2018, we replaced the Nozzles of Column due to non-conformance material
w.r.t MTC and perform NDT including UT Scanning, RT, PAUT and service test.
• During Turnaround Execution 2018, Found CL SCC crack at internal top dished head and extended the
NDT including PT internal and Metallography and found branched crack 5-6 locations, UT Scanning and
PAUT from top side was performed externally and found satisfactory. Fitness for service was performed to
remove the crack by pencil grinding and put the refractory on groove after removal crack & install the patch
plate for Repair for further cycle.
• During Turnaround Execution 2018, found refractory damaged at many locations and supplementary Inspection
Recommendation was created to repair the refractory with proper specification.
Responsibility:
• To perform Inspection of Static Equipment and piping system as per Planned Preventive maintenance
(PM) to confirm integrity and prepare the Inspection report in the Meridium.
• During PM Inspection, if find any findings (Degradation) then create the Notification with risk category
in the SAP for corrective or permanent repair during opportunity.
• To review the NDT procedure & witnessing of Non-destructive examination such radiography, UT,
PT, MPI examinations.
• Review the result of RT, PMI, PWHT, PT, UT, Metallography, ECFM, TOFD, Shear wave UT, FSECT
IRIS Ect. And capture in Inspection report for further analysis and assessment as code and standards.
• To attain the Risk assessment meeting with all required Documents to reschedule the Equipment and
corrosion loop based on decided risk.
• Attain the Regular Inspection meeting to discussion of any issue and further action as required.
• Carry out the Regular routine scheduled visual Inspection and on- stream Inspection of Equipment and
Corrosion loop for maintaining our Equipment integrity and reliability for productivity.
• Carry out Internal Inspection of all static Equipment and maintaining the records for further monitoring
To maintain our Equipment and Corrosion loop integrity.
• To attain the operation meeting with maintenance, safety and process for further necessary action.
• To attain the operation Notification related with Inspection to provide Detailed recommendation
for temporary and permanent repair to prevent from any incident.
• Review hydro test procedure and witness of hydro & pneumatic test of pressure vessels and piping.
• Visual Inspection of materials in ware house with respect MTC and Drawing & specification.
• Witness of bench test of PSV for pop off test, bubble test and seat tightness as per preventive
maintenance.
