Currently responsible for procurement team consisting of tactical & operational buyers. Management of procurement process activities across assigned spend categories to effectively achieve the targets agreed with corresponding business units while ensuring reliable procurement process. Defining procurement strategy to match Nestlé business needs & transforming business unit strategy into 7-steps procurement strategy through alignment between business objective & procurement objectives. Delivering short & long term but sustainable quantitative & quantitative benefits for BU. Responsible for smooth & regular communication flow between BU & Global/Zone/Regional & local procurement for timely decision making. Initiating, tracking & facilitating cross functional projects. Communicating issues arising out between BU & zone/regional & local procurement to HoP. Updating the business with regular reports on progress of the project & results thereof. Acting as main point of contact on all major issues, which cannot be resolved at operational & tactical level. Reporting of savings in appropriate savings tools. Ensuring implementation & compliance with 7 procurement best practices & procurement policy. Developing & managing policies & procedure relating to assigned spends. Sourcing & managing selection of new vendors in consultation with the business supporters. Rationalizing the local supplier base. Maintaining transparency & value for money through effective procurement process. Supporting & developing collaborative supply partnership programs & processes to improve performance & cost innovative solutions with supply base.
