Planning and supervising the scaffolding works. This post is responsible for the
planning and co- ordination of all manpower and equipment, materials supplies,
towards the proper completion of the site construction works on schedule
respecting the HSE requirements and minimizing the cost.
Participation in project progress meeting and providing input related to the status
of scaffolding works.
Responsible for the respect of design & calculation of scaffold to be erected
following location, loads, positions ...
Provides technical knowledge, expertise and supervision for erecting, dismantling,
of scaffolds.
Planning and directing the procurement of scaffolding material required for the
proper completion of scaffolding on schedule and after making best use of the
existing scaffolding material.
Directing and supervising the scaffolding crews in the performance of all aspects of
their work.
Read and interpret plans, instructions, blueprints, structural drawings, rough
sketches, and specifications to determine work activities.
Making forward plans for the mobilization or release of equipment and personnel
employed in the scaffolding works..
Monitoring 3 stages of track bed pours within the tunnels.
Monitoring invert reinforced structure within tunnels.
Supervising the handling and installation of the brackets and walkways in the
tunnels.
Supervision of all types of civil work such as Shoring, Formwork, Pilling & Diaphragm
walls, Concrete floors, Concrete walls, and Concrete columns.
Coordinate with Site Engineer as well as Consultant Engineers to obtain necessary
approval on civil checklists to maintain the Standard Quality of works as per project
specifications.
Competent in reading and understanding Specifications, drawings, and all other
discipline related project and engineering documentation. Familiar with and
enforces strict compliance with all QA/QC and Safety procedures, plus all Company
rules and regulations.
Ensures that all work is in conformity to standards and specifications. Interprets
specifications and discusses deviations from specified civil procedures to ensure full
compliance with QA/QC inspection plans and procedures.
Completed all work on schedule with zero safety incidents.
Supervised all civil operations for trade crafts to include carpentry, reinforced.
Promote HSE initiatives during construction phase to keep people mobilized and
safety minded (i.e. weekly site walk, anomaly system, HSE challenges, etc)
Ensure that the work is performed safely in compliance with our client's HSE
standards.

Prepare & Monitor resource planning (Equipment, Consumables & Manpower) for
Scaffolding & access related in Yard in respect to all projects.
Plan & Monitor scaffolding material inventory.
Troubleshoot technical problems that may affect the construction and liaise with
construction / engineering team for the resolution by providing scaffolding and
temporary works design schemes.
Anticipate; propose solutions to scaffolding & access for construction activities.
Analyzing integrity of scaffolding and temporary works structures.
Assist estimation by resolving their queries during bidding phase.
To perform other activities or tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the
management
Monitoring the quality of welding work to ensure that it meets industry standards.
Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and practices for the
workplace.
Reporting to management about the status of projects, including delays that may occur
due to equipment problems or other issues.
Training new welders in proper welding techniques and safety procedures
Reviewing blueprints and other plans to determine how welders will be able to
implement them.
Providing technical assistance to other welders when needed
Ensuring that proper safety precautions are taken while welding is being performed.
Training welders on new equipment and technologies as they become available.
Maintaining records of welding activity, including materials used and welders.
Responsible for the respect of design & calculation of scaffold to be erected
following location, loads, positions.
Provides technical knowledge, expertise and supervision for erecting, dismantling,
of scaffolds.
Verifies that all procedures, specifications and standards are followed
Inspects scaffolding erection prior use.
In charge to manage, monitor and maintain the scaffolding materials stored on site
and ensures that all scaffold materials are in good conditions and free from defects -
Replaces the unusable materials.
Ensures that all daily, weekly and monthly reports are completed as required.
Makes technical recommendations on Scaffold erections/requirements including
sketches to facilitate the preparation of Scaffold calculation notes.
