Responsibilities:
* Technical feasibility analysis of site specific irrigation technologies.
* Review and approval of Technical and Financial Proposals of irrigation systems including
High Efficiency (Sprinkle & Drip) Irrigation Systems (HEIS), Lift Irrigation Schemes and
Water Course Lining.
* Onsite material inspection as per BOQ.
* On spot checking of Irrigation Systems during physical implementation.
* Inspection and verification of Laser Land Levelers.
* Assist the Rate Advising Committee for assessing and fixing the unit rates for different
irrigation systems.
Conduct technical feasibility for smooth implementation of irrigation schemes.
* Conduct topographic survey, prepare layout using AutoCAD, design, and prepare technical
and financial proposals of, irrigation systems.
* On spot checking of material to ensure the quality of works as per standards and
specifications.
* Site supervision to implement irrigation schemes as per design specifications.
* Technical audit and Commissioning of irrigation schemes.
* Meeting with community to discuss and identify the problems and resolve the issues through
technical option.
* Mobilizing community for the installation of HEIS schemes, organize farmers into Water
Users Association for O & M of these schemes and to organize community to contribute in
cash and provide labor for execution of physical works.
* Monitoring and evaluation of irrigation schemes.
* To identify problems, report these problems to the senior team members and prepare
feasibility reports in coordination with community, GLAs and organization.
* Proposal writing for new schemes.
* Making notes on deviations, discrepancies and reporting problems of the site to the senior
team members.
