•Entire Responsibility for smooth running of LCL Import & Export operations dept.
•Responsible for Operations service in solving any service issue with overseas agents/local customers.
•Developing consol boxes with new agents.
•Monitor competition both in local and international market.
•Operational Quotations to Overseas Agents.
•Supervision of the operations department & delegation of Jobs.
•Maintain filed rates, Overseas partners, Agents agreements registers and KPI reports for Import/Export Operations.
•Liase with Ports & Customs and Load port agents for auctioning of old shipments and communicate With Oversea agents on all damages/claims and ensure to sort issues amicably.
•Check Payments & keep Records of approved Vendors & Transporters.
•Provide Monthly Revenue figures & KPI reports on Imports and Exports to Ops Manager.
•Finding amicable solutions to all the problems that r encountered by operation teams. Ensure all export boxes are optimzed in accordance with the bench marking as stipulated by NVOCC/OPS Manager.
•Making all necessary arrangements to on forward cargo’s to respective destinations as per requirement.
•Assist / Guide - Export/Import operations Team, Sales Co-ordinator and C& F clerk in all aspects as and when required.
•Monitor loading plans of cargo and export sent's need cargo for various destination with booking figures to Sales desk & to Sales Managers.
•Controlling local cargo pickup for export filler cargo booked by sales
•Negotiating co-loading export rates with co-loaders • Negotiating Export rates with carrier for various destinations export loading TEU's.
•Ensure each job is invoiced/signed and job files are closed on a daily basis in co-oridnation with all staff/ Accounts.
•Paying periodical visit to Local / cooperate clients
•Responsible for coordinating with customers from the beginning of shipment assignment till the end of their import cargo arrivals at the destination port. Handling individually more than 100 import shipments after sales.
•Handled Customer portfolios include - Al Halabi Ref & Steel, Lifco Trading, Element Middle East, Total Lubricants, Mohd Eshaq Trading, Darwish Trading, Supra Industrial Co, Coithrams & Sons and Marlin Furniture L.L.C.
•Responsible for generating Sale’s business from the above mentioned companies. Meeting new customers for generating more Sale’s and accounts.
•Making Import & Export Sea/Air Freight Quotations for various sectors. Negotiating the rates with various shipping lines. Co-coordinating with counterpart office/ Agents for Imports & T/shpmts.
