Roll and Responsibility
• Participating and follow up as per IMS (Integrated Management System) procedures. It is combination of OHASA18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series), ISO 9001(International Standard for Quality Management System or QMS) and ISO 14001(International Standard for Environment Management System or EMS).
• Reviewing company technical documentation and requirements in mechanical activities.
• Executing Static Equipment, Piping, Structures Engineering activities for projects, from initial concept lay out, Foundation, installation, Alignment and erection.
• Creating, developing and reviewing work-scopes for projects. Ensure that the work-scopes are comprehensive and clear.
• Reviewing method statements created by contracted organizations for scope compliance. Liaise with contracted organizations to resolve technical issues.
• Taking full responsibility of proper and timely execution of project with quality management system and any project specific contractual requirements.
• Tacking responsibility for mechanical activities schedule, required material quantity and material availability at site.
• Follow up project material receiving inspection.
• Review project documents and reports of vendor.
• Arranging documents and man power, related to construction activities like Work permit, Isolation list, Authorizations documents, Attender, Fire watchman etc.
• Producing proposals for project mechanical construction activities which involve man hour and schedule estimates for mechanical discipline activity.
• Adding value plus and optimization ideas related to piping work.
• Related to mechanical construction task, participating in relevant meetings, follow up required inspection procedures in foundation of equipment before installation.
• Follow up rigging drawing, procedure, arrangement, safety steps for equipment shifting, unloading and erection.
• Working as a piping Lead person on specific piping project activities.
• Proactively resolve any discrepancies between project team and company requirements.
• Equipment erection reporting directly to the technical senior in case of any urgent basis. Or daily reporting, executed works to the team.
• Acting as the main technical adviser on a piping site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
• Interacting with the project engineering senior for solving technical problems arising during project development.
• Plans, schedules, organizing, conducting of regular site meetings and tracking completion of given task.
• Co-ordinate with different discipline supervisors, projects engineers, operation and other company relevant departments at equipment pre commissioning period.
• Executing the chemical cleaning activity of equipment at pre commissioning period and offering inspection.
• Participating in progress review meetings and aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out.

• Executing equipment internal arrangement final inspection, follow up final box up of equipment with operation team witnessing after pre commissioning.
• Participating in rectification of inspection internal punches, completing the final checklist and final box up the equipment under witness of operation during commissioning.
Roll and Responsibility
• Follow up and cooperating with other engineering disciplines and subcontractors locally or overseas related to project construction task.
• Coordinating and responsible person for equipment design data matching with the given project data as per the ASME, API and KNPC standards.
• Responsible and witness person for material receiving and checking the material quantity, quality like thickness, trademark, metal specification, material data sheet etc.. If this entire things match to the project standard like ASTM then accepting materials.
• Key person for deciding the piping site and shop job with considering the activities like fabrication, erection, transportation for shifting from shop to site and testing suitability.
• Identifying issues and problems, developing appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance to team when required.
• Record test and inspection data, compare findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards before offering inspection.
• Preparing, updating checklist and test method of given activity.
• Responsible and closely monitoring person to follow-up the standard like AWS, ASME, KNPC, API etc. in fabrication, erection, welding and in testing work of static equipment’s, structures and piping.
• Responsible person for planning the job and involving in “Time Bar chart” making for the particular project task.
• Participating and Coordinating with other department in all motors solo run and pump mechanical run test and recording the data temperature, vibration, speed, load and sound of equipment in pre commissioning period.

• Explaining the safety toolbox talk to all man force as per the standard ISO-1400 and OSHAS18001.

• Flayer work: - Burners pit pipe lines replaced, flayer burner portion replaced during unit emergency.
• Sulphur unit: - Heat recovery boiler tubes replaced with new, furnace shell replaced, Sulphur pit heating coil replaced, Jacketing lines, slurry lines replaced.
• In Fluid catalytic cracking unit: - Reactor, Regenerator dust hopper replaced, flue gas line replaced, supper heater coil replaced etc.
• In Bitumen, Acid gas removal plant, Tail gas treating unit, Hydrogen plant etc. chemical unit’s exchanger tube replacing, exchanger shell work, process pipe lines, vessels, tower tray replacing and pre commissioning work done.
• Utility plant: - Utility piping processes piping modifications, evaporator, heater, and boiler erection, commissioning work done.
• Effluent Treatment Plant: - Bona pipes modification, underground sea water piping’s installation etc.
