• Responsible for executing topsides process engineering activities for Produced
Water Treatment, Sulphate removal Unit, Deaeration and vacuum generation
package and Water Injection Systems (Enhanced Oil Recovery) within the
budget and schedule, as well as maintaining technical integrity of the designs.
• Developed Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation
Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Safety Flow Diagrams (PSFDs), Utility Flow
Diagrams (UFDs), Heat and Material Balance.
• Prepared package and equipment specifications, process descriptions, design
basis, process datasheets, safe charts, cause & effect diagram and system
engineering/operating manual.
• Performed process equipment sizing and hydraulic calculations in accordance
with Norsok standards and procedures.
• Participated in P&ID design review, HAZOP meetings, produced water treatment
package technology evaluation, vendor document design review etc as required
and closed out all action items.
• Ensured all interfaces to partners and other disciplines are clearly defined and
correctly engineered.
• Evaluated discrepancies in design from design basis, specifications and scope of
work and assisted in resolving the issues.
• Reviewed sub-contractor deliverables and ensured that they conform to all
applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the clients policies,
procedures and guidelines.
• Liaised with the Clients Engineering, Operations, Enhanced Oil Recovery Team,
Maintenance staff and Project Management as required to ensure a consistent
approach to project completion.
• Managed daily operations of Canadian production facilities with multiple oil and
gas as well as chemical clients, ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and
operational standards.
• Optimized production by 10% through well performance monitoring and
corrective actions.
• Coordinated with drilling, maintenance, and geology teams to ensure efficient
field operations.
• Conducted safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations using RCA
methodologies.
• Supervised contractors and ensured compliance with PTW, JSA, and LOTO
procedures.
• Prepared daily/weekly operational reports and maintained accurate logs.
