My responsibilities as English Teacher at American International School included:
To teach Grade 9 and grade 10 (Literature, Grammar, Vocabulary)
To make weekly lesson plans
To prepare quizzes and mark them under a designated time.
To put the quiz result on-line on school website.
To keep record of Special Needs students in my classes and follow their academic progress thoroughly.
And as the Assistant HOD, my responsibilities were:
1. To make sure that the department functions smoothly.
2. All the teachers accomplish their tasks professionally.
3. Checking of the daily, weekly and monthly lessons plans.
4. Keep updating about the week and special needs students, whether they are improving or not.
5. Visiting classes on regular basis
6. Checking Homework, Marks and Remarks on-line which the
teachers are supposed to put on the school website on a weekly basis.
Teaching all levels of American language course especially designed at Defense language Institute(DLI), Lack land Air Force Base, Texas, USA for the officers of the royal land forces of Saudi Arabia.
My responsibilities included teaching different subjects of Grammar and English literature to the student of grade 8, 9 and 10.
