Planning and controlling cost, menus and staff, Selling, Meeting and Banquet Halls. Restaurant Service Standards, Ordering and recording Food Inventory, Managing events, shifts. Also keeping eye on all hotel operations departments, Training to Staff etc.
Responsible for the Events of Hotel Banquets.
To Assisting in Planning of Menus.
To Manage lying up of functions.
To keep well informed of F & B facilities, Promotions and Banquets.
To follow up with customers that the facilities are delivered as per commitments.
To manage credit accuracy.
Organize the system for deposit/delivery of valuable found in the banquets both to the satisfaction of the guests and without causing any legal liability of the hotel.
Maintain strict supervision over the documentation of banquets.
Ensure immediate action on guest complaints both to the satisfaction of the guests and the protection of the hotel interests by reporting and following up repair and maintenance. Major repairs should be immediately brought to the notice of the director food and beverage.
Organize reporting and reconciliation of discrepancies/damage/loss of any item of the banquets.
Ensure maintenance of logbooks for the purpose of recording and disseminating pertinent information and instruction to all concerned.
Prepare weekly work schedule of the team.
Training and Development of Banquet Staff.
Organize daily briefing of staff in banquet Set a personal example for the associates by consistent and impartial behavior in all personnel matters, including discipline through respect.
Perform all such functions as may be incidental or ancillary to the above functions.
Perform any other function as may be assigned by the management.
Provide necessary feedback on all important activities to the Director Food and Beverage.
Abide by the policies, rules and regulations of the hotel on various issues/matters and Marriott Standard Operating Procedures.
