ELECTRICAL Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:-
o Study of Client/Consultant specification and understanding their final requirements, asking any queries if not getting clear idea about inputs, their confirmations against deviations, raising commercial bends to sales team.
o Preparation of General Arrangement (front view & gland plate layout) & wiring diagrams for Auxiliary Distribution boards \[ADB\], Engine Control cabinets\[ECC\], Engine Junction boxes\[EJB\], Single Line Diagram, Feeder List, Bill of Material, Busbar layout, Schematics, etc., based on project requirements.
o Preparation of control schematic for the various Starters, Feeders, Incomers, Manual/ Auto-change-over Logics, Synchronization using DSE controller, various relay logics, Auto-Manual/ Local-Remote Selection etc.
o Preparation of Drawing/Documents like Engine interface drawings, Load calculation, Equipment Installation Guide, Procedure Guides.
o Design & Preparation of General Arrangement (front view & gland plate layout) & wiring diagrams of various Junction boxes of different IP ratings inside the soundproof Enclosures which is for Diesel Genset, Transformers & Domestic use.
o Making Cable Schedules by considering factors like From/ To Equipment’s at Field side & Cable size, Cable type, Gland type & size, OD of Cables, Number of cores, Function & purpose of the Cables, Etc.
o Making Cable tray layouts & its designs, planning for Cabling from Alternator winding to ACB/MCCB panels.
o Design & selection of Multi cable transits \[MCT\] which are useful in Industries like Oil & gas, Petrochemicals for protect against Hazards of fire, blast, water & smoke especially in Ship boards and Marine applications.
o Preparation of termination details for Electrical connection in panels and to the instruments which are used in Oil & gas industries like, Vibration switches, fuel level sensors, Etc.
o Preparation of wiring diagram & termination details for Electrical instruments/Sensors which are useful in Diesel Genset Enclosures such as Jacket water heaters, Air shutoff Valves, Actuator motors, Ventilation fans, radiator fans, Battery chargers, Air staring systems, Hydraulic starting systems, F&G Instruments, Engine gauge panels, MPU, fuel shut of valves, Coolant level sensor, Fuel differential pressure switches, Temperature sensors, Lube oil temperature sensors, Limit switches, Etc.
o Testing & Commissioning Support Engineer for Cummins Diesel Genset Packages for Cummins Middle East.
o Worked as Electrical Quality Engineer by maintaining records like Cable insulation based on high voltage/ low voltage and instrument cables, Material Inspection, panel inspection, Stage wise Project Inspection, Loop Check for all equipment’s & panels, Final Inspection.
o Meet Client for their queries, resolve it and finally to get Approval from Client & schedule the Panels for Manufacturing.
o Preparation & Maintenance of documents like Job completion report, MOM, Variation Documents, Weekly progress reports, Purchase orders, Packing list & invoice, Shipment documents as per standard formats.
o Communicate with Clients through Submittals & transmittals by maintaining a master Document submittal sheet.
o Incorporating comments & punch points by clients on Drawings and in the field by execution of the job.
o Release of all necessary Documents/Drawings, Procurements, Factory drawing set for Manufacturing. Terminal Diagram, Ferrules, Inter-panel wiring drawings.
o Necessary Trouble shooting in case of any problems encountered during manufacturing, Interaction with production for sorting out of various wiring logic problem.
o Getting approval for addition/deletion of feeders and components due to client Change & Purchase Order amendment.
o Co-ordination with various departments to meet contractual Delivery.
o Co-ordination with Quality engineers for Client Inspections & dispatch Clearance.
o Making Final As built Drawings, Test Certificates for in-house & brought out items.
