• Responsible for site engineering & electrical control panels on the water pump stations.
• Develop electrical design (Power & Control circuit), Schematics and P&ID in AutoCAD.
• Design and develop software applications i.e., SCADA/HMI based on given requirements and specifications of Client.
• Specification & integration of field measuring instruments i.e., Flow meter, Level meter, Pressure Transmitters, Actuators and its connectivity with the controlling device.
• Responsible for Control Panel wiring, Cable Termination, Installations of Electrical Components like PLC, Extension modules, Circuit Breakers, Relays, Contactors, Overloads, Soft Starters, Star/Delta starters.
• Troubleshoot issues with existing installed controlling system.
• Make Technical reports for documentation and weekly reports summarizing work completed. Developing functional requirements, devising project plans.
• Preparing documents for approvals of required instruments and systems at pump station.
• Ensure standards are maintained in a highly regulated, process driven environment.
• Power up electrical systems and configure hardware as per application specifications.
• Check quality of assemblers and technicians work and report it to management.
• Provide timely and detailed status updates to the Project manager.
• Develop electrical bill of materials.
• Effectively co-ordinate with the Client, Consultant to achieve the better work results.
• To coordinate with the other teams in the project to achieve the intended results.
• Attending meetings, making reports and giving presentations to managers and clients.
• To plan and individually carry out the work and update the progress to the immediate supervisor.
Supervise and monitor erection, installation & inspection activities at site.
Assist in the successful completion of erection, installation, commissioning and flawless start-up and normal operational activities.
Monitor electrical scope of work and resource requirements for project completion and coordinating with other discipline engineers.
Involved in erection of electrical panels.
Ensure all work to comply in accordance with approved drawings and company standards.
Inspection of electrical installation panels, prepare punch list reports.
Monitoring panel wiring, Termination, cable routing & cable tray installation
Installation, repairing and maintenance of electrical and electronic related equipment through the coordination of maintenance teams.
Ability to maintain records and coordinate and/or supervise subordinates.
Monitor material status, shipping information and delivery
Review and approval of Contractor's detailed electrical drawings, specifications and samples of items to be used for the project.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Reviewing of project schedules of its completion in targeted time.
Plans, directs and actively participates in the ongoing training and development of own self and subordinates.
Other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Contacting clients and vendors in case any issue eventuates.
Worked as an engineer on PLC brands like Siemens, Allen Bradley and VFD'S like ABB ACS 550, Siemens Micromaster 440, Danfoss VLT 2800 and Intouch scada.
As a system engineer responsibilities was to attend the site and perform troubleshooting or minor repairs for PLC, SCADA and DCS.
Visit site and collect information and requirements from the client to design a project.
Installations and configuration of PLC, SCADA, VFD.
Work under the supervision of senior engineer to design a project and execute it on site.
Done engineering with an aim to become a good engineer and explore more about technological developments
