Conducted visual inspection of all (LV rooms, DB’s, SMDB’s, MDB’s, capacitor
banks, pump rooms), and accurately and legibly recording of all the issues and
defects in a pre-formatted documents related not only with the equipment but
also issues that can be found on site/area of work. Example (Size & specification
of relay’s CB’s, MCB’s, fuses, exhaust fan, capacitor cylinders, contactors,
Controller respectively).
Executed PPM (with appropriate PPE) of all the (LV rooms, DB’s, SMDB’s, MDB’s,
capacitor banks, pump rooms etc… where in removed out all the unwanted
materials stored in the LV rooms, checked proper functioning and operation of
controller with its settings, replaced faulty voltmeters, ammeters, exhaust fans in
capacitor banks, replaced faulty contactors and relays, fuses in SMDB’s & pump
rooms, after continuity testing, also replaced MCB’s, ELCB’s/RCCB’s in DB’s traced
burnt or insulation ruptured wires/ cables for replacement, completed tightness
test and ensured proper identification and hazard labeling of all.
Executed the successful replacement of old and faulty cutouts of (150 street lights),
using appropriate tools with where in glanding and termination of armored cable
of sizes 16sqmm and 25sqmm.
Executed Electro-Mechanical Work of assembling MDB’s, SMDB’s, DB’s of all the
equipment in accordance with drawings and circuit diagrams on mounting plate
such as main incoming breaker/Isolator, busbar support, busbar (R, Y, B and Black
color PVC Heat shrinkable sleeves), cables according to standard current ratings
and specifications of Incoming breakers, ELCB’s, MCB’s Relays, contactors, fuse,
shielded wire (for VFD’s) and terminals, capacitor cylinders, specified knowledge
of cable sizes, lugs type and size etc.
Testing of panel safely using appropriate PPE after cross checking and completion
continuity test according to the specified circuit diagram, tightness test.
Attending breakdowns and conducting PPM of college buildings, star hotels, villas.
Additional Responsibility
Also proficient in handling of work related small fabrication using metal cutting
machine and tools such as accurate door-cutting for fixing of Main incomer safety
switch, Indication lamps, voltmeter, ammeter, selector switches, toggle switches,
VFD display and controller.
Sound Knowledge of busbar alteration (cutting, bending, drilling holes using
hydraulic press punching hole using motored machine).
Executed (Electro-Mechanical Work) of assembling MDB’s, SMDB’s, DB’s of all the equipment in accordance with drawings and circuit diagrams on mounting plate such as main incoming breaker/Isolator, busbar support, busbar (R, Y, B and Black color PVC Heat shrinkable sleeves), cables according to standard current ratings and specifications of Incoming breakers, ELCB’s, MCB’s Relays, contactors, fuse, shielded wire (for VFD’s) and terminals, capacitor cylinders, specified knowledge of (cable, lugs) its types & sizes, etc.

Sound knowledge about the safety and precautionary measures, single line diagram of the S/S in mind that is (all the incoming lines, heavy and light electrical and electronic devices & equipments, outgoing lines.
Good understanding about the working principles of the safety equipment and devices under use. Being attentive and alert of the situation and responsible position.
Hourly recording all the important hourly specific readings displayed upon usage of various incoming lines, banks, feeders, station battery backup systems, transformers etc. i.e., voltage, current, temperature, pressure, specific gravity of
batteries tap vale of transformers etc., respectively.
Executed quarterly maintenance of the Substation under supervision by
completely isolating and shutting down whole MUSS from the electrical network
of the area.
