The College of Pharmacy at Qatar University is the first international program awarded full accreditation by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP).
Primary responsibility was to develop and deliver lectures for sixteen undergraduate pharmacy courses and two post graduate pharmacy courses, average teaching workload 240 hours per academic year; excluding office hours.
 Active member of the Curriculum Committee representing the Pharmaceutical Sciences Section
 Made major contributions in the development of the Modular Curriculum within the college of Pharmacy, e.g. developed new modules for dermatology, oncology and the gastrointestinal tract.
 Benchmarked a number of pharmacy courses against equivalent Canadian and US top Universities. Identified gaps, and recommended necessary improvements/changes which were presented and justified to VP of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance of Qatar University.
 Evaluated and approved/ rejected pharmacy course changes; requested by other faculty members.
 Investigated latest innovative teaching methods and new technologies e.g. Flipped Classroom, Virtual Patients (vpSim) and Problem-Based Learning. Which I implemented and also shared with other faculty members to better enhance teaching and learning experiences.
 Active member of the Professional Learning Outcomes Assessment (PLOA) Committee.
 Continuous assessment of the seven program learning outcomes derived from the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada (AFPC) and based on the assessment analysis; development of curriculum improvements actions that would be implemented the next academic year.
 Major contributor in development of Final Cumulative Assessment (FCA) for Qatar University:
 FCA is the major pre-graduation exam from the pharmacy program and a pilot for future licensing exams for all pharmacists in Qatar. FCA was developed in corporation with Qatar Supreme Council of Health, professional pharmacy stakeholders in Qatar with expert consultation provided by University of Toronto, Canada.
 I lead the development of clinical cases and exam questions in collaboration with external clinical partners for the Final Cumulative Assessment (FCA).
 I was a licensed evaluator during practical component of Objective Structured Clinical Examination.
 Primary mentor for “at risk” students.
 On a weekly basis I delivered one to one tutoring sessions relative to effective studying strategies and explaining challenging topics of pharmaceutical sciences

 Assigned by the Dean as head of teaching assistants and made responsible for managing the roles and responsibilities of other teaching assistants and lab technicians within the College of Pharmacy.
 Training new faculty members with latest electronic software and teaching tools, e.g. BlackBoard, Echo360 lecture capture, Document Cam.
 Developed and delivered laboratory sessions to undergraduate pharmacy students that were developed within the regulatory specifications and highest standards of the CCAPP requirements
 Developing clinical cases, managing the logistics and representing simulated patient and/ or evaluator for the structured multi-skill assessments (SMSA), which is associated with the primary practical assessment of the “Professional Skills” six course series.

Worked within the injectable development (ID) pharmaceutical research & development department, I was given diverse assignments in project activities required for pre-approval clinical trials, competitor comparison studies and end-user studies for various regions, including Asia Pacific, Japan and USA markets.

 ID studies and reports development required for FDA pre-approval registration
 Experience with handling and analysis of hormone, protein and anti-neoplastic (ANP) drug substances,
 Experience in laboratory testing in compliance with cGMP and GLP, including complex HPLC analysis, such as aggregation, photostability and chiral assay.
 Experience with internal and external audits such as the Australian TGA and the FDA, and represented the research laboratories and stability line during the audits which resulted with positive feedbacks.
