• Implement where necessary, support and monitor the effectiveness of the company’s internal policies and plans in relation to quality and environmental.
• Ensure quality & environmental objectives are in line with business goals and objectives.
• Ensure systems are compliant with current legislation.
• Supervise and support all quality and environmental activities in your Area/office
• Act as a Point of Entry with the Regional QEM and Global Sustainability Management
• Responsible for monitoring and analyzing process exceptions (PEAs) of your Area / office as well as the corrective and preventive actions result of that analysis
• In cooperation with their management, ensure compliance with quality and environmental requirements, e.g. Defining and monitoring of QEM targets
• Design and implement quality and environmental training programs to relevant personnel and pushing for training completion in cooperation with the Area Local Training Administrator.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain excellent business partnerships with clients and suppliers by pushing the Sales and Customer Service Directors in making sure that customer surveys is analyzed and an action plan is defined to increase the customer satisfaction and pushing the Operations director to ensure that a list of approved Suppliers is ready, that the Supplier evaluation process is followed
• Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences and Develop and maintain BCM (business continues management) plan.
• Ensure all current procedures and practices are sufficiently robust to prevent environmental issues arising e.g. spillages, damage to water courses Where possible introduce waste reduction/removal or the sourcing of lower energy products e.g. lighting, sending out an email asking everyone to shut down the computer before leaving the office, hang a couple of signs in the office promoting recycling, organizing a little box to collect old batteries and ensure they are properly disposed, or coming up with initiatives to save electricity
• Ensure the reduce, reuse, recycle philosophy is paramount throughout the company.
• Maintain Substance Data Sheets & records and instruct colleagues accordingly re handling storage etc.
• Keeping staff safe and the ensure building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.
• Handle requests and queries appropriately.
• Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority and arranging travel, visas and accommodation for them.
• Planning and organizing events.

• Amending the text file to accepted in SEDI.
• Follow up with POL regarding the incomplete BLs
• Check the BL if it is transit or free zone.
• Checking container types if it's (LCL, FCL, and PCL) to upload it correctly on SEDI.
• Opening headers for our vessels and for the other agencies.
• Send the text file to terminal and follow up on the containers
• Writing letters for issue resulting from containers problems to the custom, once we get the approval I amend the text file to accepted in the SEDI system
• Generate text file from FIS and upload it on SEDI.
• Handle requests and queries appropriately.
