Currently I work as an Emergency Medical Officer in BHY, a tertiarty care hospital located in the heart of Karachi, Pakistan.
my duties as an emergency medical officer include providing BLS,
managing trauma cases and effective referrals on time.
managing and prescribing any and every acute condition presented in the ER.
assiting in the admission process of medically needing patients.
Helping hands in suturing, dressings, debridements, ATT vaccinations, urgent asthmatic management, hypertensive emergency and urgency care, trauma patient care and management etc.
KGH, is a tertiary care hospital, including almost 700 beds space, with ICU, and NICU services. As a medical officer in KGH my responsibilities included: Looking after in patient and out patient services. Holding Campaings and assisting in institutional work. Rotational duty in Gynea/ Obs and ER. Assisted and conducted normal deliveries solely. Assisted in forcep delivery and ventouse delivery. Prepared Pre- Operative patients and provided full attention of care to post operative patients.
As a medical officer in ALGH, I was designated and appointed to look after in patients as well as out patients. my duty roations included rotation in gynea/obs where my responsibilites included conducting sole deliveries and managing the ongoing labour room practices.
assisiting and enhancing patient care and satisfaction with consultant rounds and helping through diagnostic procedures as well as examinations and prescription advices.
in my experience of a year there, I had covered gynea/obs, ER and Adult Medical ICU and NICU duties.
